This doesn't quite make it. While converting from laptop to tablet mode is a snap, it wont completely return to laptop mode without a restart. Also, I wanted this for Amazon Prime Video, which i used frequently on my Samsung Chromebook Plus with downloaded movies. Not so much on the Dell. The video freezes and jumps constantly and I'm not trying to play the highest quality video. Disappointing Dell. I was hoping this would be a keeper.

Thanks for your feedback on your Chromebook 2-in-1. We're sorry to hear about the troubles that you've been having. As far as our Chromebook technical team is concerned, you should not have to restart your computer each time that you convert it from tablet back to laptop mode. You may want to check the settings on your Chromebook to see if any adjustments need to be made.
We'd also recommend the following steps if your picture is continuing to jump and freeze:
1. Turn off your Chromebook, then turn it back on.
2. Close all your apps and browser windows.
3. If a specific tab in your browser causes your Chromebook to crash or freeze, hard refresh the page: Ctrl + Shift + r.
4. If you've installed any new apps or extensions recently, uninstall them.
5. Reset your Chromebook.
6. Recover your Chromebook.

Lastly, you can check for any updates to your Chromebook Operating System by following these steps:
1. Turn on your Chromebook.
2. Connect your Chromebook to Wi-Fi.
3. At the bottom right, select the time.

|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Dell latitude 14 inch chromebook is a very well built, quality machine. With this build quality does come some weight. The Dell is on the heavy side of other chromebooks in this size, but it does have an aluminum chasis, backlit keyboard and touchscreen, so the weight does offer something in return. The bottom edges of the sides do have a sharp edge to them which I don't like. When you pick up the chromebook from the sides the sharp areas are noticeable and uncomfortable to some degree. Setup was easy, but I did have a number of app crashes after the initial setup. Maybe there was an issue with the setup process or maybe the app were not compatible with chrome. The Dell chromebook does use the google app store so I may have installed some apps that were android only, but I did experience many crashes. After the first 2 days, and after uninstalling some of the apps, this machine is running excellent. Speed is great with the Intel I3 processor and the screen is really nice and bright. I really love the backlit keyboard as well. Touchscreen is responsive and it has handled all of the tasks that I have given it without any issues (after the firest couple of days). One nice feature is the stylus that comes with the Dell and is stored in a slot on the front of the machine. I have these with other laptops and chromebooks, but they are always missing since they aren't stored in the machine. This one is convenient to reach when you need it. Overall, I really like this chromebook. If I could make any changes, it would be to shave off a few ounces and work on the sharp feeling edges and this chromebook would be 5 stars easy.

Microsoft office isn’t compatible, only if you use the android apps from the play store which are terrible. Not worth the price at all. It would help if Best Buy didn’t encourage customers to buy the 1 year of o365 when it isn’t compatible at checkout too. Also why heavier than you’d think it would be.
