    This is a pretty solid Chromebook, and is fairly quick. However, it could use some just a little extra RAM.

    First, I don't believe in Intel processor without a fan... The CPU getting hot is a normal thing that is caused by the processing load. In normal fashion Computers, the heat is controlled by either a mechanical fan or a water-cooled system. This laptop is equipped with Intel Core i3 (8th generation) processor that is handling Chrome OS in a very good way. Android apps are also running without glitches (the apps I mainly use). Booting time is fast (normal for chrome book). Linux is in BETA. It is working fine though (I use LibreOffice under Linux). It has only 4Gb of RAM. I wish it has 8Gb... Even though, I tried to stress it with many apps and several tabs and didn't notice any severe lagging. Just doing fine. Built-in camera is very good. Good enough for Skype, Hangouts and any online video communication... Battery charger is the way I like it: In line power adapter. It is a USB type-C connector with small LED indicator on the plug. Wires are long enough and it charges really fast. The Inspiron has 2 USB type-C connectors, one regular USB, Micro SD card slot and Headphone jack. I wish it has the comprehensive HDMI connector. It would make life easier. The laptop (chromebook) build is very good but kid of heavy when compared to other available chromebooks. Screen is ok! Colors are not as vivid as you see on some others but it is eyes friendly display. Typing with the keyboard is just good. There is no noisy click and still enough feedback. Back-light is obvious... Sound quality is ok! Kind of loud. Louder than I need any ways.. Battery life is very good. Way better than some other chromebooks I have/had. Touch pad is ok. Not the glass one but it is working very good. WiFi signal: Well, I'd say average. No real issues so far! Like no random disconnect or anything like that but Let's say it could be better. Maybe the WiFi indicator is deceiving. I am literally 4 feet from the WiFi router and it shows that signal is medium. I tried to go reasonably farther from the router and it remains connected. Touch screen? I am not a big fan of any laptop with touch screen... I use it occasionally for quick scrolling or browsing. It is just doing the job. I just love the gestures of Chrome OS tracking pad. I wish it can be applied to other Operating Systems... This Chromebook with indeed give you the first impression of: WOW when you will get it. I can guarantee that.

    I ended up exchanging for a windows based laptop. A bit wonky on dual screen operation. Also Citrix was tricky for my needs.
