My wife needed a new lap top, but really only uses it for email and the web. Decided to try a Chromebook and got a good deal during a recent sale. Battery life on this is incredible. The only issue so far is that you need to download an app of some sort to print PDF files. It will not recognize Adobe files as is.

I'll start out by stating I only paid $350 for this chromebook. It was on sale from $550 to $400, and I'm part of the student deals which gives another $50 off on select chromebooks. With 4gb of ram, it's plenty fast! There's never any lag when multi-tasking or switching tabs. The 128gb of storage is more than enough, especially since I use Google Drive (like the cloud) for most of my stuff. The screen is crystal clear with great colors, and I LOVE the backlit keyboard. From completely shut down, to browsing the internet, is easily 10 seconds or less. And like Mac's, chromebooks have built in virus protection so no need to buy any like you would with windows. My only complaints (albeit minor) are the sound quality and weight. The sound is actually pretty good, until someone speaks. People with deep voices tend to make the aluminum case vibrate past 50% volume, which is annoying. And this thing weighs in around 4.5lbs, which is quite a lot. But honestly I don't notice the difference in this one, and my 2.5lb 11.2" Samsung, when it's sitting on my lap. I definitely recommend it!

I purchased this to replace a old tablet with battery life issues. I really like all the features it has and especially the size! It does everything I need. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because of the weight it's a bit heavy wish it was lighter!

I have been using for almost a month & am so happy I purchased when it was on sale because it was at a great price point for the features I wanted. The only "negative" thing I can say is that the WiFi connection changes to 'weak' signal periodically even tho I am less than 15 ft from my wireless router. However, I am not experiencing dropped connections so....so far so good. (and from what I've read this is not uncommon for Chromebooks). Very pleased with this purchase & have recommended to friends & family.

Everything I was looking for in a Chromebook and a sale price of 200 hundred off. Great processor love the 14 inch high-def touch screen, 128 gig memory and a two-in-one... great Chromebook. My only problem is my Chromebook wouldn't recharge. I had to return it, and now they are currently sold out.

Great Chromebook with touchscreen and backlit keyboard. It also has 128gb of storage and a card slot, in addition to Google Drive cloud storage. With access to Google Docs, i really haven’t needed to purchase Microsoft 365. You also get access to Google Play apps and Linux (Beta). Love it so far.

Fast to power up and fast processing with a backlighting keyboard. No anti virus protection to purchase with a chromebook either. Owned for just a few months but happy with it so far.

I found this item open box for a decent discount. I needed a chromebook that would handle GSuite for work and this fit the bill just fine. I like that it's a 2 in 1 and I can use it as a tablet but it is a little bit on the heavy side.

This is the fastest laptop I have ever had! It is internet only, with no hard drive. Can't be hacked and no virus protection needed! This is fast and I enjoy using it every day. Thank You Dell for creating something this old man can enjoy

excellent laptop.. very eazy to manage and play with. im not a tech savvy but even my 6 year old can mess with it without a problem all she does is turn it into a tablet.. i really like this product and would buy it again just for my older son

Super product BUT when I was to surprise my spouse with new laptop for ease, web surfing, email...sales person said "Chromebook" and just didn't emphasize enough (that I recall) the OS will be different. Been a struggle...so we're swapping my SurfacePro for her Chromebook and I'll see how I can mange it.

It's attractive, lightning-fast and a great laptop for email, web browsing, and streaming content. The only downside is that IT IS HEAVY! So much so, I wouldn't use it as a tablet. Its heavy weight is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Other than that it's a 5-star chrome book.

This is exactly what I was looking for. At my last job I had an MS Surface Pro. It was very nice and I was looking to get one of my own to replace it, but the price was more than I was willing to pay. I found this, was a little skeptical but after having it for a few months now, it is better than the Surface - for what I need. I'm looking to use it for gaming or anything that would require a lot of memory or a high horsepower processor. It's Linux based and much more stable. This fit the bill perfectly. If you're looking for an excellent web surfer, emailer and document creater this is the one. I highly recommend it. You will not be disappointed.

I really enjoy using to do all my homework for college. Haven’t had any issue just that the audio isn’t great. This laptop doesn’t die so fast. I don’t even have to carry the charger for classes. It could go a day and a half in between charges depending on how much I use it.

Love this chromebook. It's been a lifesaver during the past year for my 6 year old's schooling. The touchscreen came in quite handy. The only problem is the fan is a bit loud and whiny when it kicks in. Otherwise this thing is awesome!

I use my chromebook for my business and personal use. It is a great computer. You can file on line and get your info if you are elsewhere which is very convenient. It is quick and the colors are vibrant. You can also use the hard drive for saving info.

If you are looking for a laptop to surf the web, use web based sites (google doc email etc) then this is the laptop for you. You can even install android apps This is not a gaming pc or a pc to edit movies .. perfect for the casual surfer

While in quarantine, my daughter's computer stopped working, completely just blacked out!! I was really worried about ordering something without looking at it but trusted Best Buy and they came through with flying colors! My daughter loves her laptop!! Thanks BB
