    Quick start up

The Chromebook has a very fast startup. If I close it and then open it later there is no delay in being able to use it. I mainly use it for Google Docs, email, streaming movies/tv, online shopping, and some drawing. It all loads quickly and runs smoothly. The video quality is just as good as my old MacBook and the audio is slightly better. My only complaint is that I can't get it to work with our printer but that might be the printers fault or user error, I don't know.

It has been very dependable. It is a bit heavy for a Chromebook, but it feels VERY sturdy. You can add apps from the Google Store, and storage is upgradeable via the card port.

Bought this for my fiancé. She just needed something for web browsing and YouTube basically. So much faster than compatible priced windows machines. If you don’t have software heavy needs then I would check this out. The hardware has a nice premium feel to it as well.

Great Chromebook, I love everything about it. It’s very easy to use and understand. Sometimes coming from windows people believe that Chromebook can be difficult, let me say I was able to adapt to this system very quickly.

This chromebook stands out from the rest for its specs, build quality, and display. I researched many chromebooks before setting on this Dell and I am absolutely satisfied. I would have preferred RAM to be 6 gig, but four works just fine.

This Dell is very lightweight and fast. Boot time is just seconds and surfing the net is speedy. It is able to run Office 365 much faster than an i3 running Windows 10. This machine is perfect for anyone needs a machine to email, surf and stream.

I'm so happy for my purchase. my wife told me much easier for my son perform his home work in chrome book instead of using her Mac book. All applications open too quick and recording by click away and submitted to his google account.

Good bye windows. Welcome the wonderfully fast world of Android. back light keyboard is cool. But the best part is it's super fast, with icore3. close the lid, and then open it, and it resumes in seconds, not minutes like windows laptops.

I was skeptical when I saw that it is an i3 with only 4gb of memory-- however, it is a legit laptop on its own. I do not have much experience with Chromebooks until this one, but I do have android devices-- I have the pixel 3 and the original pixel, and two android tablets, so the google system is not new to me. I also have multiple laptops-- 8th gen i7s with 16gb memory PCs. This machine can compete with regular laptops. First of all, it is fast-- since chromebooks are like mobile devices on a laptop platform, it is like "over equipping" a machine. Chromebooks are app-based like android mobile devices. So it is not resource hungry. That i3 and 4gb memory is more than enough to run this machine. I open up the flap and it hardly needs any start up time-- it is right in your face ready to be used! Since it is a chromebook, I just sign in to my google account and everything I need is there-- my google sheet files , google docs, my keep notes, even my regular browsing data to pull up easily. On this chromebook, I won't need MS office-- unless I am a very old school user. everything is on the internet and this device brings it all to me. You know what's really good though? I cannot drain the battery at all! On my high-end PC, after 3 hours of use, I need to be mindful of my battery life. In this chromebook, I don't have to worry about battery-- I was switching from youtube tabs on the browser while I browse social media and was researching some items for 3 hours-- the battery meter has not even depleted a bit. It's like sorcery on a man-made machine. Like I said, these things you can do on a mobile phone, or a tablet-- but having the convenience of a dedicated keyboard, a good-sized screen (i mean 14 inches??), I think this is more than enough for regular users. Given that, it is a little bit on the heavy side. For what it can do, it is a little "over equipped"-- but I'm not complaining. It can be something you can carry around with you to get work done, without overspending on power machines. I have not used it for photo editing or gaming-- I think chromebooks are for light to regular users of daily tasks and I think emails, browsing, watching movies and such; this machine is more than ample. Oh, the speakers by the way are not that great-- it can be tingy-- but don't we all have headphones somewhere?-- and those work just fine, like any other laptop. I think this should be a staple for college students.

New to chromebooks, and this made initial work easy. I decided to return this item because Best Buy listed it as having an HDMI outlet. It did not. But, if this has what you're specifically looking for, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

If you are in the market for a new laptop and don't want to spend alot on a windows PC. This is the deal for you. Even though it has 4 GB of ram it doesn't slow down at all. Super sharp screen and backlit keyboard are great as well.

Great Chrome Book. It's been working well for about a year and a half. It is fine as long as you're just editing documents or viewing movies. We don't use it to multitask or play games.

This thing is so much faster then the 4 other Chromebooks I’ve had it hard to compare. The screen is so much great; I have other 4K monitors but the screen is so crisp, great colors from any angle, an I love using the touch screen, it now much more intuitive as chrome has advanced. And it very solid, I was worried about changing from tablet to pc mode but it all handled transparently. The metal frame makes it very solid, it a tad on the heavy side but it’s built like a tank. I’d rather have the weight and have it takes the bangs than die on me. For the price it hard to beat, its everything a chrome book should be, plenty of memory and speed. Battery life is close to 12h! A great deal for the price.

Went into the store not knowing exactly what laptop we wanted to buy. After discussing needs with the consultant, they steered us toward the Dell Inspiron - Chromebook. Glad they did - just what we needed and a great value.

I had bad luck with earlier HP touch screen chromebook (Model:14-CA061DX) which started having all types of issues and with screen. So I started looking a better replacement with touch screen and my son was very particular about it and liked this with all nice features and frankly I love the build quality and performance, however touch screen stop responding time to time. The only solution is to restart, it is frustrating to restart when you are middle of something and it stops working. This is the only reason for my 3* rating. I've been this only for a week, will update again after couple of months.
