I decided to upgrade from a 22" monitor. This 27" monitor is huge! The picture is amazing. I'm just using the standard VGA hookup. You don't have to use an HDMI cable to get a dazzling display. The driver software has a display manager where you can select different window panes for display (see uploaded print for the different configurations). You can throw a spreadsheet into a large pane and still have a browser window and file explorer box and see everything at once. This was definitely a steal when it was on sale at $149!

This is a great monitor. It looks sleek, well built and has a heft to it and doesn't feel cheaply made. The bezels are thin so the screen gets a lot of real estate to shine. The screen is vibrant and gaming is a blast on this monitor. But what I DO NOT UNDERSTAND is the fact that why this amazing monitor only comes with 1 HDMI and 1 VGA port? and VGA? Who in the world uses a VGA in this day and age anyway? Who was the genius that decided, "Yep, 1 HDMI and 1 VGA would do." The lack of ports really is a sour spot in this pretty amazing device. Not to mention that it doesn't even has an audio jack so you cannot even connect a headphone to watch or game in silence. I had to use a DAC Converter running from my PS4 to my PC Speakers to make it work. Since I also wanted to connect my PS3 to this monitor but I would have to resort to HDMI Splitter if I want to attach more than one consoles to this monitor or just manually change the HDMI cables. So to make long story short, MAKE SURE to read how many ports a monitor has before buying it. Unless 1 HDMI is all you need then in that case, this is a fabulous monitor and for $110 (The price I paid) is literally a steal.

Great monitor with an even better sales price! I had to set up a quick at-home office and this was a GREAT purchase for an easy investment for my home office. Very easy to set up. It came with an HDMI cable, although it said VGA cable. Thankfully the oversight did not cause any issues with my setup. I love the monitor so much I bought a 2nd one!!

I purchased two of these monitors for streaming from my new Alienware Aurora R7 and have been extremely impressed, I now have 54” of screen real estate. The graphics, colors and screen quality is absolutely amazing I play high speed racing and shooting games and these monitors performs above and beyond every time. I did manage to get these on sale for $130 but even at $189 they are a steal and the quality is stunning. If you need a decent well priced monitor that looks great, this is the one.

Best monitors I ever owned. I am not a gaming enthusiasts. But I like to game from time to time. However I am a developer so these really work well for me. Great color quality then most monitors in the same range.

I did not need anything with super graphics, I just needed something to use as a dual screen for b My work at home. This was priced very nice and it is a great picture. It actually adjusts and tilts the way I need it to. perfect

Had I know this was a different type of monitor I would have gotten a different model to run dual monitors. As a stand alone display, it's pretty solid at the price I paid because you get 75 fps if you activate freesync. I have not noticed any visual issues with my monitor when using a NVIDIA card but I don't game on that monitor so I wouldn't be able to tell you.

This monitor is fantastic, budget friendly with 75hertz framerate refresh. Colors are vibrant and true to output. Did not have to adjust settings it’s perfect. Input delay lag is nearly 0 very good! Totally going to buy a second! It’s got a nice screen and a nice glossy back finish!

I purchased two monitors and placed them next to each other in order to have multiple screens open at once. They work great. The picture is clear and perfect. What I didn't know was that they come with an HDMI cable which is great because you don't have to buy another one. They were easy to set up and install. Great buy!

The Dell - SE2717HR 27" minitor is so beautiful. When you work on it you feel like you're sitting infont of a TV. If it detects no HDMI cable connected it'll put it self on power saving mode. I love it.

wow, straight out of the box videos on this monitor look great the color accuracy and the brightness need no adjusting some of you might be wondering, since it is 27" monitor is 1080P good enough? on this monitor, absolutely. There is no blurryness, no jagged edges. small text is perfectly readable. I have owned many monitors including dell ultrasharps and LG ultrawides, and in the past I would only recommend 2560 x 1440 for such a large screen but IPS and LED technology has come a long way. I bought this monitor because I needed something for the holidays while visiting relatives and it looked like this might be a good deal since I was pleased with my past dell ultrasharps, but let me tell you, this is a great deal. keep in mind, the monitor is cheap because it makes sacrfices, there are no speakers, there is only 1 hdmi input. I have this monitor paired with Insignia NS-HBTSS116 Powered Bluetooth Bookshelf Speakers and a polk subwoofer and it is great for a mini home cinema experience on your PC and gaming rig. best buy frequently lists products on their ebay store like floor models or displays and you can get the NS-HBTSS116 for under 60$ and paired with this monitor gives you awesome sound with an amazing picture all for just over 200$? this is crazy value.

It's exactly what I excepted! Great quality, especially for this price. Picture is clear, color is good. Only one complain, there is only one HDMI port, can be inconvenient.

This computer monitor meets my expectations and so far no disappointments.

It is a good monitor, but it’s a little old for today’s standards. Today I found a curved Samsung monitor 32” for the same price at a local Costco store, so there are better offers out there. However that doesn’t mean that this monitor is bad, it is thicker and it doesn’t tilt up and down, but the quality is decent and if you’re not looking to use it for anything very demanding like Gaming it should be fine, I currently have it as a dual monitor set up and I mainly use it to program and do school assignments and no complaints.

I was looking for a 27" monitor (at a GREAT PRICE) to use as a second monitor with my 27" All In One HP that I purchased from Best Buy on last week. I tried a couple of other monitors but neither was what I was looking for. I searched Best Buy online and found this Dell monitor at a much lower price than other retail store websites. I knew from the moment I took it out of the box, that it'd be a great match and it pairs up perfectly! The picture quality is good, and the design of the DELL monitor compliments my other monitor. My search is over, I couldn't be happier. I recommend this monitor.
