The Mavic Air is a great drone for flying in small spaces. It’s easy to transport and the small size does not intimidate “Non drone people”. Most people think it is a toy and do not realize it has a camera on it. That is a good thing. I only had one neighbor come into my yard to see it because he heard it and thought it was a bunch of hornets. Incidentally a couple of days later I was stung ten times by hornets in my yard but that is a different story. The drone practically flies itself using ground sensors and GPS. I’m used to flying cheap squirrelly drones that drift all over the place. The Mavic Air just sits where you leave it. The 4K video is very sharp and can be configured to your taste. This is a great drone for having fun. Watch the YouTube videos and decide for yourself. I bought the Fly More package which I recommend but if you want to save $200 you can purchase the standard package.

This is a great drone for my son who is a beginner to middle range user. Compact, easy to use and delivers quality images. The flight time is good, the features are great for its size and the value for the price is awesome.

It's super easy to fly. It took me about 10 minutes to figure out the flight controls and after that, it was smooth flying. It's really hard to crash with all the sensors this thing has. I love that it's so small. Very portable. Just make sure you read up on all the regulations from the FAA before you purchase it. There are a lot of regulations and if you live anywhere near an airport, you'll be driving before you're flying. You also have to register your drone for $5 with the FAA. Can fly in National Parks either. Still, even with all the restrictions, this is a really fun and smart piece of technology. Oh, and the video quality is amazing, it's been taking my photography to new heights. Pun intended.

I just upgraded from the DJI P3 for convenience and travel confort. It is very small yet powerful. Awesome 3 axis gimbal. Perfect for carry on a backpack. Moderate flight time but considering its size I think that is a dealbreaker for me. Highly recommended.

This is my second Drone. I bought my first Drone a few years back when they first came out, and basically all it had was GPS and I had to get really good at guessing. Lots of fly always, but luckily I was able to find it. Ready for an upgrade I did a ton of research and found the DJI Mavic Air to be the right Drone for me. Wow, I am so glad I made this purchase. What a piece of technology. Using my cell phone and attaching it to the controller, I no longer have to guess. I can see the airspace limitations following FAA rules. I can also se my altitude, speed, direction and best of all, exactly the view from the 4K camera to film video and pictures. The return home feature works perfectly. I can not say enough about this Drone. Having 3 batteries is a definite plus! Flight time is about 20 minutes.

I love this drone, it’s pricey but everything that is included with it is top quality. So glad I got the fly more combo once you get it flying you want to just keep flying! It’s great it has 8gb internal memory that gives me about 11 mins of record time at 4K would definitely recommend a SD card. Camera is super clear and playback is breath taking honestly. If you’re new to drones this is a great choice all the sensors built in it’s almost impossible to crash. The amount of customization available in the menus is mind blowing it’s great because if you want to just fly no problem but if you want to get in there and tune the drone to your exact liking it will do that too. If you’re on the fence just purchase it you won’t be disappointed

Things I like about the mavic air 1. Easy to fly 2. Very stable 3. Advanced features. 4. Compact desing The remote controller can be better, but works fine. If your are looking for a fun drone to fly, the mavic air is the way to go.

So I have been flying an autel x star premium for about 2 years without a problem it has a carrying case that felt like I was taking a carryon on a plane With that being said I now own this fine machine thanks to my wife for giving me the green light. I have only flown it once since I got it on 1-26-19. From just one flight and how much I flew my other drone I can say that this little compact drone is a monster. No joke. I like the fact that it has 3 batteries 3 sets of blades a carrying case that is small and other gear that make this combo pack a killer deal. I noticed that the multi battery charging dock only charges one battery at a time but it’s not a big deal to me. It just keep that in mind I will update after 3 more months of flying

This thing is a little noisy up close but once you get 100 feet up it doesnt matter! Id say this is a great size for travel and shoots good 4K footage as well as 1080P. good for beginners and easy to set up.

Does everything it says it does and is of good quality, if your on the fence about getting a drone due to cost and you have limited knowledge on them I recommend this as your starter as it does what most too notch drones can do. The only issue I have is limited range and if you leave it on too long it will overheat because it uses the down draft from the propellers to cool the battery. However the drone is quick and nimble and because it uses normal wifi to link to your phone you can get a portable wifi extender to place in between point A & B to extend your range. It doesn't have a gimble so you can only view front facing but all in all a great way to figure out if drones are for you.

This is a great high quality compact drone for recreational use or professional use. Camera is great, comes with a nice carrying case and extra batteries for more fly time. Highly recommend

I bought the Mavic Air a week before heading out for two video and photo projects in Florida. I already carry a lot of camera gear, so wanted a lightweight, high-quality-images drone. At 1 pound and 4K video files, Mavic Air fit the bill. I'm not a techie, so I practiced five days in a row before leaving. There's no actual Owner's Manual, though there is a Quick Start guide included. Online DJI tutorials don't explain how to calibrate the system, yet the drone won't fly unless it IS calibrated. Fortunately, several Mavic Air users have filled in the gaps with their own how-to YouTube videos. How did we perform? Thanks to my operator error, I flew the drone right into an orange tree on the second flight. Had to climb up to retrieve it. Chipped off a piece of one propeller (I highly recommend 1) purchasing DJI Care for $89/year and 2) using the propeller guards, which prevented more damage) and I flew it again without replacing that one propeller. Buy the Fly More package -- several spare propellers included. On the fourth flight on a different day, I flew the drone right into a tall palm tree. A park ranger fished it out of the fronds with a long bamboo pole. The pole slipped and the droned crashed several feet onto the ground. No damage! Flew it again within a minute. This thing is a champ! And I'm very pleased with the video footage as well as the stills. Worth every penny. By the end of my assignment, I was much more comfortable with the Mavic Air. I think we bonded :)

What a cool device. If your looking for a drone that is a serious piece of hardware and not a little play toy this is it. This is my first real drone and I love it. The pictures and videos you can get with this thing are awesome. Its super smart and has so many features it was a little overwhelming at first but watching YouTube videos helped a lot. The fight time is a little short but still long enough for me to get the shots I want. Just make sure you pay the extra for the fly more combo and then you wont have any issues. Only downside I see is all the stupid rules in Cali for drones. But dont let that hold you back from getting one. You will love it :)

This drone is outstanding. For the pruce of this kit youvare definitely getting a steal. The drone is amazingly stable and easy to fly and the footage is beautiful.

I thinks this is one of the best cost/benefit for a drone you can buy. Its small, light and powerful. The batteries duration are considerable by its size. Easy to fly and carry.

For a small drone, it has fantastic features: great pictures and videos, easy to use, many modes of operation, and compact making it easy to travel with.

I actually purchased cheaper drones, trying to get great pictures and video. I was wasting my time and money. I have loved this DJI Mavic Air since i first took it up and took pictures and video and I'm amazed at what you get in this fly more package. I'm now hooked on dronies and video shots i could never get without this product. We ride motorcycles and the shots I've taken so far are priceless to me. I'm not very computer savvy or electronically intelligent but this has been a breeze to learn and the support forums are awesome. Be Blessed and enjoy this product when you make that purchase.

I got it on sale to replace mine bebop2 that was not performing well.. gotta say that I'm very impressed with quality and futures of this drone. It has so many futures that I'm still figuring some out weeks later. I does take great footage of video , nice and smooth , battery last about 18 minutes , so you got good 15 minutes to play with and 3 minutes to land. not bad at all considering that it comes with 3 batteries. I don't really care for included case but it is OK , usable enough.. would highly recommend this drone , make sure that GPS is connected to few satellites before you fly it outdoors.

I had the opportunity to buy a refurbished unit on Ebay for hundreds bucks less but opted to buy new instead. I can't believe how easy this thing is to fly compared to my old cheap parrot drone. I took to this one fast and did not need the safety bumpers at all. Been to a few locations to fly and see there sites and having fun watching back some of the video and looking at the quality pictures this thing takes. I could have gone to the latest model but see no reason for that either as this one does plenty.

Great camera, great controls. And distance, and live video. Only problem or more of a peeve, is the noise. Aftermarket props helps alittle.
