I had been waiting on a quality drone, that didn't cost and arm and a leg, that also had some decent flight time. The Spark meets all those criteria and more.

The drone is overall easy to fly, great for beginners, takes decent shots and video footage with good lighting. You can see pixels at times and the picture refreshing but with the correct settings it works out. Hand gestures are a great feature but it gets difficult to control. Controller is a must its to difficult to control it with just the phone. Also extra battery packs are a must fly time is only 16-18 minutes when recording a video.

I move from a Mavic pro to a Spark. Reasons are that with all the restrictions and people getting a try the you fly a drone, this is a very discrete and silent drone that is easy to fly, great camera, solid construction and small size. It is very easy to carry with you always, you just take it out ad fly,

Great drone, especially for beginners. This was my first drone and have nothing but good things to say about it. For the price that you pay for it, there isn't a better drone. It is also very durable. I crashed it a few times and it still keeps going! Easy to fly and it's very quick to get up in the air. Also great for travel since it is so small.

Great drone. I use for camping. Simple to use. Push of a button comes right back to you. Wish it had longer flight time. Only about 15. Minutes

Great drone. Super simple and fun to fly. If you're ok with 1080p, the video quality is outstanding. I'm taking off one star because the latest rev of DJIs application (DJI Go 4) is buggy. I'm sure they'll be updating it soon.

its My first drone and I have zero complaints. Super stable. Easy to fly with no experience, pictures and videos are gorgeous (wish it shot raw but now I’m getting picky), great battery compared to other drones that are more expensive. Controller in high quality. Yeah, can’t wait to go hiking in the mountains this spring.

Picked up this bundle on sale. First real drone. Wow. I flew the cheap ones before but never knew how advanced these were, pretty easy set up, gps. It would hover and stay in that spot without me touching remote. Good camera shots, fast little guy, easy to take with you hiking or on the road. Love this thing...

This combo includes everything you need at a very good price. The drone flies very stable although it is very sensible to the wind. That is due to its very small size.
The camera takes very high quality video.
The batteries does not las long (15 min ave) but the combo includes 2 so you still can fly while recharging.

The Spark drone is small enough to take with you while you travel. It takes great video. It is easy to control using your phone (I am using an iPhone X). I do suggest you get an additional battery (or two) as the flight time for me has been around 12 minutes (while recording). Great little drone.

This little guy is a blast to fly. It has great video and still shots for such a small little drone. No it's not made for the professional but your looking for your first drone or you just want a backup to your bigger drones this guys is great. If fact i like flying the spark more than i like flying my Phantom. So go gotcha one today you won't be sorry.

Bought this for my son who’s been flying drones for a few years. Took watching a video to set up everything properly, but he’s had no problems since owning it. Great quality camera, excellent range, and stable in moderately windy conditions. Recommended.

I am new to the drone world, but this is very easy to set up, and to use. It takes excellent video and pics for the price as well. Highly recommended for anyone that wants something a bit nicer than a toy. Sport mode also gets you flying over 30mph! Highly recommended!

This is my 3rd DJI drone, there is a reason why they are the best, the Spark is excellent, it flies well, it is very stable for its size, I chose the Spark because it was small and very portable, I like to make motorcycle videos , it works well for this, I do wish it had a 4k camera but it's footage in 1080p looks good and can be edited to look even better, overall I am very happy with this purchase.

I have been waiting for this drone for a long long time. The Spark is the best of what DJI drones can do, in a small and more affordable package. Recently, DJI has released AutoPilot for Spark, which adds waypoints and a slew of automation, making this "toy" a commercial contender for sure. Best part of that is people assuming it's a toy and ignoring it, when in reality it's a mid-grade camera platform with amazing capabilities. I use Pano and Globe constantly.
For an aspiring flying-camera pilot this is a GREAT place to start. But since detailed reviews are everywhere maybe I can save you a few dollars and frustrations with 3 easy rookie tips.
1. Check your controller and drone battery levels obsessively. If the controller gets low the drone will auto-return to home. If, like me, you live among trees, this is bad. If the drone battery gets cold, it can click along very quickly, again triggering a Return to Home into a tree. Not good.
2. Set your Return To Home at a sane level. Like 0. I suppose in Ireland with no trees, RTH is fine, but here in the woods, where I'm 20 feet from my drone, watching the thing run off to play in the trees is very distressing.
if your RTH is set to 30% of battery remaining, well in the cold this can happen quickly and suddenly, and again, you're in the trees. OF NOTE, THE BIG RED PAUSE BUTTON WILL STOP RTH IMMEDIATELY.
3. Get landing gear that clips on around the motors and snaps onto the arms. Why? This will protect the camera and the motor mounts in a crash. What breaks on a Spark? The motor mounts. They hit and shatter as the plastic at the intersection is a bit thin. 3rd party landing gear fixes this with minimal added weight. And any buffer to hitting concrete is super helpful as the GPS unit is also very easily shaken loose and this grounds your drone. Don't need GPS? Too bad, you still can't fly without it.
Noticing a theme? RTH is responsible for my crashes, I have not crashed, but the software has taken the drone out twice now. This is particularly noticable with the shorter running time of the Spark. To do over I'd start exactly the same, but I'd be more vigilant about the batteries, and don't forget that PAUSE button, It's better than a 1-month repair for $250.
Get DJI Care, it's worth every penny for the rookies.
