If you are not familiar with drones, this is very difficult to learn.

This is my second Spark, replacing my first one I had an oopsie returning home into a tree and crashed it. I have owned the Mavic Air and Pro. I like this one the most due to its ease of use and less fragile gimbal than my Mavic Pro. The flight time is okay, and signal can get interrupted in congested area, but I use an OTG cable and make sure the antennas are properly adjusted for best reception. I have been extremely happy with my picture results from the spark. As seen below it doesn’t get much better for the money. I also like the fly more combo for the charger and nice carrying bag.

This is my first DJI product which I bought Spark combo pack for longer & extra flight time, plus, you get a free carrying case for your batteries and charger that's included. If you’re a beginner, I would highly recommend burying the Dji Spark and upgrade later ones you are very familiar with your unmanned aircraft. It took me a few days to learn how to calibrate the drone and the compass in the IMU settings in the DJI GO PRO app. Whatever you do when you get any DJI products it’s got to be updated to the latest firmware or you will not be able to calibrate it, which was the problems I am having until Dji tech support walked me thought the process. DJI has Outstanding customer service and there is no other drone that is more user friendly then the DJI GO PRO4 app on the market.

I have had several drones in the past and I have watched many videos of the DJI Sprint on YouTube and have been extremely impressed with the many features for the price. Last week, I purchased one from Best Buy and went through the installation procedure, but there was a glitch in the computer program and after a talk with tech. support, I was advised to return it and exchange for a new one. I returned the Sprint drone, but and ask for the "Fly More Combo" I checked the price and for only $200 more than the base price of $499, you can get a very complete package of extras. I added up the cost of the extras and found them to be around $375. I tried to place an order for that model and was told I would have to wait, probably a week or two because this item is not in stock yet, but it is a tremendous buy and I will wait!

The Spark offers a solid set of features and good flight performance for the price. The RC makes flight control precise and responsive. Fun once you can get it flying. The significant downside: atrocious setup and possible quality issues. As with most products today, written literature is minimal. Have another device available for troubleshooting other than the main control device, as switching between the apps (and losing your place in DJI Go) will exhaust you. My issues started with a defective RC. After working through every option to exclude user error, DJI phone support confirmed faulty hardware. Thanks to Best Buy for an easy exchange. RC issue resolved, still could not connect to the aircraft. Support forums correctly indicated all internet connections to the control device need to be disconnected; ***active cellular data connection will prevent a connection***. Once I cleared that hurdle, app continued to read "Cannot take off." in red, with the apparent issue being the inability to update No Fly information. Again, at the advice of third party forums, I had to sideload an earlier version of the app before the updates could be completed, unlocking the aircraft. Even when things go right, it takes a significant amount of time to get airborne between setting up the device (e.g., disabling all internet connections), clicking through screens, acknowledging updates, acknowledging warnings, etc. Setup is far too cumbersome with too many known issues for this price point. The app functions like an unstable beta.

The drone is great and the camera is nice and the drone is fast with no issues and is perfect for everyday flying with hot swappable batteries and the battery life is great. Overall the drone is a great buy

Ok so i am 13 when i was 12 i bought the spark. I love it.So easy to learn how to fly it took me a while how to set it up.But i would get the dji care for a year just in case you break it my drone is in the shop right now.It has a big senser right in front so you cant run in to any thing.I would buy the fly more combo becasue the drone is $350 and the remote is $150 so thats $550 and you get a extra battery and a bag so get the fly more combo.

Flight for this drone is a breeze, even my 5 year old can fly it. For video quality being in 1080p and not 4K the colors are vibrant and every little detail noticeable. I have had tons of fun and flight time using this for my YouTube channel. Check out this video, https://youtu.be/dr5N0X2wCfI

I bought Fly more combo from Best buy store, this drone is very easy to use. Only complaint is missing memory card. I heard this drone usually comes with 16 gb card, but i didn't find any memory card.

Purchased as a side hobby. The photos I'm able to get with this drone on our family vacation were amazing

I really wanted to get into drones but didn't want to spend a ton of money so I got the Spark. I'm really impressed with the capability of this drone for the price. Recommend buying an OTG cable to connect your phone to the controller, can be bought for $5 or less. Not sure why they don't include that? Before I bought the cable I would get video signal loss when I flew too far away. The cable has improved the performance about 20%.

This Drone is the perfect drone for anyone. Easy to control. A 5 year old could fly this.

I bought this basically for the follow feature. It constantly loses the target. Can only fly so far from starting point and battery life is like 10 min. Quality is great otherwise The combo pack is almost a waste. I never use the controller (use my phone) or the blade guards. The hard case holds everything but doesnt fit in the case with the strap. So either your stuff is safe OR easy to carry

I had a great time getting started with this drone. it was relatively simple to set up, although I had to reset it and the controller to get them to sync up. I had 3 or 4 very successful flights in "beginner mode" and learned how to control it. It crashed against the side of the deck and broke one propeller - my fault. But still in beginner mode, on the 4th or 5th flight, it took off to the southeast out of site and I was sure it was gone forever. However - it did TRY to come home - we heard it and saw it try - and it's lost somewhere in the forest. I would NOT recommend it on this basis. As a software guy, I recognize how cool a piece of engineering this is. But it failed me...

This package it's amazing it has everything you need

We have several Dji products and love them. This one offers a lot for its buck. Does most of what the bigger ones do. Great for beginners.

Right off it wants a firmware update. Problem is, it doesn't understand it needs this update unless it's wifi is connected to the aircraft, and of course it cannot download the update unless it's connected to your wifi. Catch 22, it has to be connected to two wifi's at the same time. After an hour or so going back and forth it finally downloaded and installed the update. I was on the edge of boxing it back up and returning it to Best Buy.
