I wasn't too sure about this chair but I bought it, sight unseen. Assembly was pretty easy. Not sure why others had problems. The chair is comfortable and looks great. I was afraid the color might be too light and would get dirty easily so I gave it a few coats of ScotchGuard and after a month, it looks new after using it every day. The only change I'd make is the locations of the height and back adjusters could be set closer to the front for easier access.
