Everything about this release is good, the package, the movie, art, special features. The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is because Funimation did a terrible release of the digital copy. Right now the code that comes in the package can only be claimed on Funimation's site. Their digital library section of the website is definitely underdeveloped and I am unable to watch the movie digitally on my PC. It works from the app, but it's advertised as being able to work on both platforms. If they fix the issue and if it is added to other services, like VUDU, I would give this release 5 stars.

Amazing film! Filled with action and explosive moments! Spoiler alert: when broly transforms I was certain my neighbors wanted to kick me off the block! So loud and booming wow!!! The classic Kakarot and Vegeta vs Broly! Amazing! Video quality is unmatched so clean! As I said Audio oh my god!!! Fantastic!!

This was a great movie with plenty of action and great fight scenes, for those who haven’t seen the movie yet all I’m gonna say is that Broly is crazy strong.....also the movie gives a bit of insight on Goku and Vegeta’s when they were young including Goku’s parents before the destruction of Planet by Freiza.

Having missed the opportunity to see this in theaters I had to pick this up on home release. I remember watching the original Broly movies. Apparently this a retelling of sorts of Broly’s tale set in the “Super” series. This is a great movie with some great battles; as one would expect from a DB Series.

This was without a doubt a treat for fans of Super and Dragon Ball in general. The animation was exceptional and it was great to see characters we’ve known for some time be consequentially incorporated into the series’ mythos. The steelbook itself had a nice matte finish and featured some inner print.

My kids wanted to see this on DVD since the movie came out back in December. Now that they have it in their possession they watch it almost every day. I am a avid dragon ball Z collector and I love the anime. If you watch this dragon ball Z movie you will fall in love with anime all over again.

If you are a Fan of Dragon Ball Super or the other iterations of the show, then you are going to love Dragon Ball Super: Broly! This retells the story about Broly but includes how some of our beloved characters are tied into his origin. A must have if you are a fan of just Great Anime.

Right of the bat, the movie is a love letter to Dragon Ball fans. A 5/5. Pros: Animation is near perfect Music is great (just with one issue) Story expands the series in many ways Cons: The Japanese dub is a bit butchered. Subs are a bit inaccurate and doesn't play the Japanese song (Blizzard) For some strange reason theres a green tint on (certain) blurays. The UK version has none The bonus features are terrible. Theres nothing besides interviews and Vic's (the voice of Broly and the main star) interview is completely removed. Either way, you can find them on YouTube, which makes it a lame "feature". The digital copy is the worst. You have to use their website. You can't redeem it on Google, amazon, iTunes, or any major player. You can't download it, only stream it through them. So overall, the movie is 5/5 but the whole package is a 3/5. Funimation is dropping it on their biggest franchise. With this, the vic issue, the 30th box set, funimation needs to get their act together.

Longtime fan. Fight scenes best in the whole series. Saw it on the big screen and had to own it. The quality of the Blue Ray and I like the fact it include the blue Ray. If anything I was not to crazy about how they told the Goku origin story ..it too much Superman like

Whether you are a Dragonball fan or not this is a must see movie. Any fan of anime in general would find this movie exciting with all the action and the story line is elaborate. If you are familiar with the back story its a nice revisit at points and if you are not no worries.

Dragonball Super Broly is the lastest movie in the Dragonball franchise. It tells the orgin stories of series regulars Goku and Vegeta as well as a new story for the character Broly. Excellent fluid animation as well as a great soundtrack makes this a fun visual feat.

Broly, the legendary Super Saiyan has risen once again, but in Dragon Ball Super canon. Not very different retelling of the Saiyan's origin, minor differences, which I won't say for spoiler reasons. But if you enjoyed the original Broly movie, you'll enjoy this reboot.

Great anime.i have been watching dbz for a while and this movie awesome. Crazy how the much anime has evolved in the past decade.

Dragon Ball Super Broly is my favorite Dragon Ball movie of all time. They did a great job with reinventing Broly. He is no longer a flat character, but instead an interesting one. Buying the Steelbook was a no brainier, since this film has a ton of rewatch value.

This movie was everything I could of wanted from a Dragon Ball movie. It gave a great origin for Dragon Ball, amazing art style, awesome music, epic battles and the Broly we NEED! The steel book is definitely the way to go if you are a Dragon Ball collector/fan.

It’s always great seeing Dragon Ball coming out with new stuff from the original author, and the Broly movie was so amazing and I was quite surprised to see it was getting a steelbook with the release. I couldn’t take the chance of missing out on it, I had to.

One of the best movies from Toei Animation in recent years of Dragonball Super, personal must have for collectors.

Its a great movie with good action scenes and story that makes Broly a more interesting character. This is canon to the series (where as the old film is not) and takes place some time after DB Super. Be sure to finish the series before watching this.

Absolute legendary DVD! Im sure this is an old school anime lovers dream gift!
