Dredd how it should be told. The 3D version is outstanding and the visual effects are bar none. This movie needs more love from consumers. We deserve a sequel.

This is the Dredd movie I've been waiting for. True to the graphic novels. Love the story and graphics. Unbelievable in 4K. Definitely worth buying. I recommend to add to your 4K collection.

Bought first one release week and it wouldn't play on Samsung BD-E5900 (3D player#, Visio VBR133 #3D player#, or LG bluray drive on PC #2D only, DVD-burner). All with the latest firmware of of 01/22/2013. - Samsung player error: "Cannot play the disc. The disc does not meet the specifications." - Visio player error: Loading and then tray just opens - LG bluray drive on PC: Tray opens: Please insert disc Exchanged for another copy 2 weeks after initial purchase - same issue/errors. I've read similar accounts from people who have purchased at other retailers so I'm not sure if it's a bad batch, incompatabilities with the 2D/3D combo disc format, or what. May try again, or just go for credit if possible on open media/product...

For a sci-fi movie, look elsewhere for something better, like the original Judge Dredd with Sylvester Stallone and Diane Lane. The characters were not engaging enough for me to actually care about them (although Olivia Thirlby was good), so that killed the movie for me right there. I don't even remember the lead actor's name! This movie could have been so much better with an improved plot and script, and another actor playing Dredd. A lot of graphic violence in this movie, which I did not enjoy. Also, the ending was unsatisfying. Technically, the blu ray picture and audio was excellent. For $5, I got what I paid for. I would not pay full price for this movie.

rated R dredd like it should be! if your a fan of a good action movie i would suggest getting this specially if its on sale and you got nothing to do on a free night. Comes with a digital copy and a lot of extra features with a comic prequel.

This is nothing like the 1995 Judge Dredd flop with Sylvester Stallone. This is the definitive Judge Dredd that need a sequel to continue our journey into the dark future.

I wasn't a fan of this movie when it first came out, but it grew on me over time. Got it for a very good price, and I love that one disc has both the 2D and the 3D versions of the film.

Great packaging. Steel book arrived received without any damage, though they didn’t pack enough bubble wrap. Movie is great. Blu ray, 4K, and digital.

"Dredd 3D" is a gritty, dark, and badass film adaptation of a great comic series, and Karl Urban is the perfect Judge Dredd. The movie looks great on Blu-ray thanks to cinematographer, Anthony Dod Mantle, and has some cool 3D effects.

Warching movie, I must have counted 20 "Wow" s while watching the movie. Very different from original, which is also a classic.This judge is as tough as the first, but you see he is more human and can get injuried. Also has to think quickly, or die.

This movie is the spiritual predecessor to John Wick. Simple plot with a man who is good at one thing and goes forward doing that thing very well. The 3D effects were also pretty fun on this one during some of the "slow down" scenes.

This is a very well done action movie from a comic book. The world looks very real and the plot, while not amazing, keeps your attention. The acting is good and the characters are pretty entertaining. The Blue Ray, Copy and 3D are a good value as well

I went into the store and purchased over 8 Movies at the same time, they have a bin in the back that they try to hid but there are good movies for half the price or more.

Very original and out of the mainstream mind-set of movie making. The effects, story and setting were amazing. Acting was ok. I definitely recommend this film.

The plot here is almost identical to the foreign actioner THE RAID. Hero needs to ascend an apartment building against an army of thugs and fighting masters. Feels like a comic book movie, over the top, violent, and unbelievably fun.

The only thing I Dredd is not owning this flick years ago. This movie punches you in the face, then tucks you into bed and kisses you good night.

I thought this version of Dredd was better than the Stallone Judge Dredd version. special effects were better in this movie, good story and great actors. This Blu Ray disc quality was standard and paid less than $5 at ?Best Buy

A lot of action and violence. Looks and sounds great in 4k with my 7.1 surround system. I had to buy the steel book as the regular was not available !

This movie had all the violence and action you would expect from a Judge Dredd movie, except this time it's very enjoyable. The action and violence is only there to serve an excellent plot and interesting characters, which is how it should be.

This is a classic science fiction movie. The acting is great with a major star in the lead actor. The audio is also great. The overall movie is great as well.
