Best Buy did the install and I’m very satisfied. The system works great and I would recommend the product and install.

Unfortunately the product is only as good as the internet connection! I just couldn't live with the fact that it only worked 50 percent of the time! Frequently I would show it off to a friend and it couldn't make the connection because of the data connection. Quite embarrassing! Showed the problem to the installers and also to Drone Mobile support! They had no solutions because the data connection is not something they can control!

it is pretty cool that now i can start my car from anywhere in the world using my phone. Only drawbacks are that it requires a $50+ annual subscription and the app has a few bugs (like showing current status of car).

Excellent remote start. I recommend if you have a compustar remote start. Signal strength is good hasn’t failed yet used for about a month straight. Basic plan is all you need don’t go for premium unless you want gps location for insurance discount. Best aftermarket remote starter out there. Installed on Audi Q5 2015

Makes turning on your vehicle & checking on its security easy when you're not within range. I was in NYC & my car in Seattle. Was able to turn it on & ensure its security with ease all from my cell phone. And the yearly subscription is at an excellent price!

I am so in love with this! I work in a building that is far from the employee parking and there is nothing better then getting into a warm car when its -20.

I absolutely LOVE having the drone app on my phone! I use it at least four times a week. Being a Lyft/Uber driver as well as Postmates and Uber eats, sometimes I want to keep my car running while having it locked. This app is amazing! I also love how when I’m with friends, I can come back to a nice warm car. I love using Alexa with this too! The only downside is that it does take about 5-10 seconds to register and work with my car. In a perfect world, it would be about 2-3 seconds.

My drone works great from any distance. It's the reason why I chose it. But sometimes the activity feedback I receive on the app isn't always correct. For example my car will start up but the activity on the app will tell me it failed. Also I'm still trying to learn some of the features. Sometimes it turns off after I'm already inside the car and sitting down. Once I shift gears, it turns off. But sometimes it will remain on and I'll be able to continue on my drive. So I don't understand why it does turn off and sometimes stays on.

Works like it's supposed to, even in my underground parking garage. I had the Viper Smart Start in a previous vehicle, and for the money and features, this is a FAR SUPERIOR product. I'm very happy with Drone.

Its been pretty reliable so far starting my car, it is very convenient to have. Only main issue is the cars status display on my mobile device is not always up to date or accurate. I've remote started, then would hit refresh and the would tell me my car is off, when in fact it is running. It appears to not update the other status as well, such as the doors locked or trunk open, they always appear as closed even when I do have doors and trunk unlocked or open, so that part of the status report is completely useless even after hitting refresh several times.... that part is disappointing, but it does start my car everytime...

Had drone systems installed on both my vehicles that were equipped with Compustar remote start systems. These are awesome, I can remote start my cars from anywhere in world as long as I have some sort of cell signal or from a computer. I started my car up in the winter time while I was away for 2 weeks, to keep the battery from dying on us. The app lets you know when it's running, you can lock and unlock the vehicle from your phone, even open the trunk. A temperature sensor in the vehicle sends a read out to the app and you can see if the inside is warmed up or cooled off to your liking. There is a cost for the service which I wasn't aware off at the beginning, but it came down to about $3 a month, so not bad at all, the first 30 days are free, but if you don't upgrade to a service plan before it expires it charges you a $35 dollar fee when you do sign up for it again.

bought this for my daughters remote car starter and she is able to use her phone to start the car, but keep the doors locked. this had worked exceptionally well

Our service representative recommended this product and we are happy with it so far. The installation was pretty quick and everything is working very well. We now have remote start from anywhere in the world, as long as we have cell phone service!

I was going to buy a starter that I could start 3000 feet away but this is by far the best way to go. I can start my van from anywhere with just a touch of the phone. Love it!

I bought a compustar remote starter system for my 2012 f150 and bought a drone system at the same time. Took about 6 hours to install both. Paid 129 for 3 yrs basic service. Works great.

This was a cheaper option than the Viper brand and it truly worked just as well. I also loved the variety of options when choosing your drone membership (need membership to use it with your phone). We opted to just pay monthly at $5.99 and it was so worth it. Love being able to start it from inside my house and it staying locked from potential thieves.

So worth the money, have already told a lot of my friends to purchase one, great price, works every time

Works great to have remote start capability anywhere. The screen does not seem to update though for showing locked or unlocked. It shows whatever status you left the drone at last such as locked even if you unlock with the vehicle remote. Also apparently drained the car battery after playing around and checking the locked status. The car was in my garage and I knew it was unlocked but showed locked on the screen again. I pressed the unlock on the drone mobile app and the next morning the battery was dead. Possibly a coincidence but never found anything else that would have caused it.

The only detraction is that you have to send a lock signal to the car to get the correct status in the software. When you've used the key to shut off the engine, the software has the status of ON when you originally used the software to start the car. I wish it would update the status after Xnumber of minutes after engine is shut off. I have a Toyota Camry XLE and has toggle buttons for HVAC and defroster...next generation of this equipment should be able to control those items to make it 5*
