Hello, this is my honest opinion about new Rexing motion detection system. I am a truck driver and was searching for a motion detection system that should be small, black, weather proof and easy to install (and be hidden). I leave my truck on the truck stops or sometimes I rest in the cabin, and I cannot see every single motion around my truck. I saw lots of hits and runs with my own eyes and really wanted to take a few steps to protect myself. I discovered this small device during my search online and based on my previous positive experience with Rexing I did not hesitate to buy it (it was at a lower price point of my budget, which is a plus). I got it within a few days and it took me about 20-25 minutes to install. It is super small and is hidden behind my mirror. I tested it and it detects motions as intended. I am driving all over US so having weather proof gadget is my preference. Also, I was happy about 18-month warranty. Now, I feel confident I can use this device for a long while and be covered if needed. I am very happy, it met my expectations. Not all of us have Teslas with all the cool features, so devices like that help! Great buy

An affordable and worthy investment towards protecting your vehicle. Easy-to-follow, illustrated instructions are provided in the manual. Took me less than 5 minutes to set it all up. Cable is generously long. Unit is slim and takes very little room on the winshield. Importantly, this product will not work for hybrid or electric vehicles, only ICE vehicles, as stated by Rexing in the product's description ("Note: This product is compatible with gasoline vehicles only. It is currently not supported for hybrid or pure electric vehicles."). I discovered this to be the case afte the fact when I attempted to install it first on my mother's hybrid vehicle-- the sensor would not keep on when the car is off and no amount of noise or movement created would activate the dash cam. Yet, when I installed it on my ICE vehicle, it worked just as described. Just be sure to deactivate the Parking Monitor function ON the dash cam for this kit to work properly. Overall, very satisfied with it.

Smile! Excellent addition to my Rexing dash cam. I have had a couple of versions of rexing dash cameras and that all have great build quality and picture quality. My last one had some sort of thing where it would record when the can was off. Or maybe it was just going to stay recorning. I don'y know and never got it to work. My new camera coupled with this motion detecting add-on is pretty impressive as far as operation. Was worried about install but it is all really plug and play. Wiring is starting to look a little cluttered. I may pop off a couple pieces of trim molding and tidy it up.

I picked up the Rexing Intelligent 360 to go with my dash cam, and I’m glad I did. It’s one of those accessories you don’t realize you need until you have it. The motion detection is really sensitive, which is exactly what you want when your car’s parked somewhere unfamiliar or overnight. It gives me a lot more peace of mind knowing it’s watching in every direction, since the 360° coverage basically eliminates blind spots. Setup was simple—Rexing made it easy with the OBD-style plug and cable. I didn’t have to mess with complicated wiring or spend hours figuring it out. Once it was connected, it worked seamlessly with my dash cam, almost like it was part of the system from the start. Overall, it just adds that extra layer of protection that makes me feel better leaving my car parked. It’s not flashy, but it does exactly what it’s supposed to do, and it does it well. If you already own a Rexing dash cam, I’d definitely recommend adding this to your setup.

Rexing’s radar-based camera wiring harness is a simple solution to achieve parked car security based on proximity movement. Unlike the rexing dash camera’s impact-based activation feature (make sure to disable it when using this radar), this device enables dashcam power (USB-C or Mini-USB) when proximity movement is detected. It has low and high sensitivity modes which work well at around 30-feet, and 20-feet respectively in my testing. It’s power draw when running the my dash camera (V1P SE) is around 3W, and less than 2W when in standby sensing for a target detection. This means the passive power drain on the car battery is very low. It has three different power shutoff voltages between 11v and 12v where it will turn off automatically to prevent over discharge of your car battery. If your car turns over slow or takes a lot of cranks to start I would recommend leaving the shutoff at a higher voltage. Overall I am happy with this product. It frees up the 12v cigarette lighter my camera used to take power from. The only downside is the space it takes up near the rear view mirror - I suspect if the sensor could be mounted next to the dash camera on the passengers side it would be less intrusive.

If you have a rexing dash cams this is a great accessory to have with it. This Dual Intelligent Hardwire Kit is compatible with Type-C & Mini USB for all Rexing Dash Cams. This is a proximity motion detection instead of impact which is great when parked. It will powered on when movement is detected within approximately 20 to 30 feet, depending on the sensitivity mode selected. It draws very little power—around 3W during recording and under 2W in standby minimizing battery drain. It includes adjustable low voltage cutoff settings (11V–12V) to prevent over-discharge, I would recommend using the higher cutoff if your vehicle struggles to start. Keep in mind this connect to the OBD2 connector. It was easy to install and to plug in, just need to hide the cables nicely. I recommend getting this.

The Rexing Dual Intelligent Hardwire Kit is a solid choice for powering Rexing dash cams. It’s compatible with both Type-C and Mini USB models, making it versatile for different cameras. Installation is straightforward, and the kit provides reliable continuous power while protecting your vehicle’s battery from draining. The build quality feels sturdy, and the kit keeps cables organized and out of sight. Overall, it’s a practical upgrade for anyone wanting uninterrupted dash cam recording and a cleaner setup.

This device works well... details later. Installation The pictures show the FIRST temporary testing installation. I will install it temporary until assured that everything works. This final install will be excessively easier than the original camera install; NO need to go into the fuse box, just plug onto the ODB2 connector and “fish” the cable to the mirror behind the panels for a totally hidden wire install. My System This install is a casual add on feature for my existing camera, a forward facing camera with an additional rear window camera. The camera was installed with the parking alarm feature not operational due to my wiring mistake. So, this add on device easily adds-back an enhanced 360 degree tamper alarm. The operation is simple, not much to go wrong. The device detects movement and triggers the camera to record. This is not a great aid to me during daily use because I park nightly in a garage. However, when I travel, I have always wanted to know when at a hotel lot if people are looking into the car! I will probably be moving this and the camera to a work truck where it is better needed and purchasing a internal 360 camera. Price is a bit high, but the easy installation helps offset some of the cost. It does what it is intended to do, installs easy, hard to give a rating less than 5 stars.

I have been using Rexing dashcam for years and have always been satisfied with it due to its simplicity and reliability to transfer video clips from dashcam to my computer. I have now added the Intelligent 360 into my Rexing system and am excited to see now I have motion detection integrated into my dashcam. Highly recommended!

Been runnin’ the R316 for a good while now, and figured it was time to get the hardwire kit to clean things up and make the whole setup more permanent. This kit did exactly what I hoped it would. No more fussin’ with the power outlet every time I start the truck - it just comes on, does its thing, and keeps watch even when I’m parked. Install was simple enough. I ain’t no mechanic, but with a little patience and a few zip ties, it went in clean. Cable tucks away nice, not hangin’ down or gettin’ in the way. The parking mode kicks in just like it should, and it shuts off when it needs to. Feels like Rexing thought this thing through real well. Down here in NC, summers can cook an egg on the dash, and so far this setup’s handled the heat without flinchin’. I’ve been stickin’ with Rexing for a reason - their gear holds up, and this hardwire kit’s no different. If you’ve already got one of their cams, this here’s the piece that brings it all together.

I've enjoyed using the REXING 360 Degree Intelligent Hardware Kit for several months now with no negative issues at all. This device is the simplest of smart hardware kits I have ever installed, due it's OBDII plug. So much quicker and easier to get the installation done compared to locating the proper wires to splice, placing fuse taps on existing circuits, or worst case scenario eliminating a vehicle's only power port . The motion sensor is hardly noticeable due to where I located it next to my dashcam, plus the minimal size of the actual device. Paired with the dashcam, this enhances my dashcam's overall reliability with motion activated recording vs the dashcam starting to record after an impact is detected. The sensitivity has low and high settings, as well as an off setting to completely disable the sensor. I found the low setting works best for my needs and only triggers in a parking lot when someone parks next to, or walks up to the vehicle. This bonus feature similar to what a Tesla has and is a nice addition for my older daily driver. This 360 degree motion sensor has been a great addition by providing an extra layer of security being a 24/7 parking monitor for my vehicle.

A nice upgrade to my existing Rexing v1p dash cam I already use in my vehicle. Used this hardwire motion detection device for a couple weeks and so far it has worked great. The sensitivity is very good and has caught motion nearby my vehicle. A nice feature of this hardwire kit is that it has a safety feature in case your battery reduces below a set value. So you don’t have to worry about draining your battery below a safe level. Setup was a breeze. Just connected to the existing camera and used the obd connnector to get connected to the car. (which is super easy to do).

Got this kit because I wanted the ability to record while the truck was off and parked at places. It works like a champ. My only complaint would be that it's pretty sensitive. So it does pick up movement from birds, moths, dew on the windshield, etc. But thats a trade off I'll deal with, I know if anything happens itll be covered. The install was reall eaay, and since it plugs into the OBD2 port, I didn't have to find a fuse to tap into like the older kit. I have it powering a V33 and no complaints about power. I drive the truck everyday, so haven't had an issue with battery draining. I have the older kit in another car and never had an issue with that even after leaving the car parked in an airport garage for over a week. So I'm sure this will be just fine, even moreso since I can adjust the low voltage cutoff. If you're on the fence about getting this, don't be, and get it.
It was a pleasure using this wiring kit. It only took about 1/2 hour for me to install (because I was taking care to hide wires carefully). I've purchased a few Rexing Dash Cams over the years and even the old Hardwire kit, so this kit was a pleasant surprise as to how easy it was to use.... No dealing with fuse taps or anything, just plug it into the ODB port. Best Buy shipped the item quickly.

I’m a true believer of Rexing’s products. The Rexing products I have is a body Cam, and I’ve had 4 dash cams and now I have the Intelligent 360 monitoring system. In my experience with the Intelligent 360 monitoring system, I have to say that this device does everything that it’s been advertised to do. I can rest easy when I park in a parking lot knowing that my vehicle is being watched by this device and I sleep a little better at night knowing that I will have a video of the surroundings around my vehicle. The only real way to find out how it well it works is to get one for yourself. I would recommend that everyone to get Intelligent 360 monitoring system for their vehicle along with a Rexing 4k Dash Cam.

Great addition for my dashcam. My current dashcam already has a vibration wake up feature but this motion sensor add-on adds an extra layer of protection for when it comes to my car being parked. Super easy to install since it's location is about 6 inches away from the current dashcam.

I was always jealous of Tesla owner as the car start recording when you approach it, This is perfect addition to have your car protected at all times, it monitors all around if anyone appraoches your car it starts recording
