Never thought I'd love an expensive hair dryer but I do. So glad my fiancée bought me this as a gift. At first I was annoyed coz I thought it was ridiculous & so expensive but I can't go back to any run of the mill blowdryer. I have very thick & very long hair that goes to almost my knees. It takes hours for my hair to air dry. This blow dryer is so gentle & dries it so fast. I live in Alaska & you can't let your hair air dry in the winter or else it freezes. This is the most amazing thing ever. And all the attachments are great. I love the case as my old one was just a mess taking up space under the sink. Not to mention that cool 90's clear look is just nostalgic & cool when the color changes that changes if itself if you set it down (blue), safely far away to have on high heat (red), middle (orange), too close (yellow). You can of course turn it off which is great!

Wow this blow dryer is strong! And I have thick but straight medium length hair and it dried it within 5 mins! My fiance uses one of the attachments to style his short hair. I have yet to use them myself. I was using it and my mom thought I was using the Dyson vacuum because they sound the same lol.

Recently got my hair permed and needed a diffuser. I’ve been eyeing this hair dryer for a while, definitely worth the money given the versatility and ease of use. Highly recommend if you’re on the fence!

I originally wanted the blue one but bought this due to availability on the president's day sale. I love the quality and feel of it. I am not sure if I'd ever use the case, but it is nice and we keep the attachments in it. This is the newer model and has a proximity sensor that adjusts the heat level automatically, it also shuts off if you are not using it. You also have the option to turn it off. It may seem pricey but it is worth the price and you certainly deserve it too. This will by far outlast in style and function any bargain priced product out there.

I have had many expensive hairdryers and from top on. The line but I always get frizzy and dry hair that was making my hair damaged but I got the Dyson and I was so happy with the first time of using it no frizz no hair breakage recommended to everyone, especially people with dry damage herewell worth every penny

I am a huge Dyson fan and own many. From amazing vacuum to Dyson Airwrap. I was super excited to get this hair dryer since I dont bothet w hair dryets since all of my Airwrap parts - accessories does the job. This hair dryer is a letdown. Sadly, it went back and not worth price tag. The cool off of temp is not supported by every attachment, and on the most min level it blows out so much air that I did not expect that and almost burned my hair and scalp. I have felt it. It can take time to get used to it and learn so this so call cool off scalp adjustment does not fool you. In my case I have not felt cooling off to adjust properly and only few attachments worked with it. I didnt expect so much air and heat on lowest level. Honestly, now I can see that all those reviews who were given or gifted free product hyped it up. I achieve better results with airwrap that I own ovet ten years and have upgraded to all new tech attachments. I think Dyson could have done better job with this one. Even if purple one comes w a box, its a shame that such expensive tool they would not include a protective box w patina - topaz color. This product is probably worse than Supersonic hair dryer version. I would stick to that. Only thing I liked about this hair dryer are diffuser attachments but my airwrap has it too. No point. Wave and curl diffuser on this hair dryer did give me more bounce and body in my wavy hair. On the final note, unlike Dyson Airstraight this hair dryer should completely auto shut off when placed down but it does not. It keeps running on cooler temp. That defeats the purpose and should have a capability like Airstraight for the price tag.

The dryer was easy to use, but I have long, curly and it took me a minute to use it the way it’s meant to be used but so worth it. I look like my hair was done at the salon when I use it!!! I definitely recommend it as it’s worth every penny!!

I find the perfect hair dryer, stylish,of course help keep healthy hair and scalp. Disadvantaged is expensive price.I would recommend Dyson hair dryer to my friends.

My Hair dryer is no longer working and it’s not even 2 years yet

This is the neatest and nicest hand held hair dryer I’ve ever owned. The technology behind this is quite impressive. There are a lot of pros that I can say about this unit, so I’ll begin with the cons. There’s only one that comes to me right off the bat. It has so many attachments and there’s no way to keep them neatly together. Dyson should think about including a bag or carrying case for the dryer and all of its attachments. The attachments are huge and seem like I need a separate drawer just to contain them. So the good. The heat is instant. And I love how it detects how far away it is from an object. So it auto adjusts how hot it is. You can see that reflected immediately by the light that is displayed throughout the unit. It turns yellow/orange for medium heat, red for high heat and blue when turned to cool. It is visually interesting. When placed upon a surface, it will detect that it’s lying down and go into an idle state of sorts. The attachments are pretty cool as well. It’s an easy attachment system of magnets. These magnets are extremely strong. But not difficult to remove and place onto the drier. I appreciate how the drier seems to remember the last settings for each individual attachment. However, I don’t see myself using all of them frequently. I do think that when using the diffuser your hands may become a bit lethargic because it does add some weight to it, and if you have long hair you’ll get tired after a while holding it over your head. The attachments are pretty cool. Each having their own independent function. But the coolest one is the diffuser and how the large bowl is kind of like an inverse diffuser which sucks the air inward and, the comb part of the diffuser that blows the air out normally. The unit itself also isn’t very loud. The heat output is immediate and on the highest setting feels like it would burn your scalp during use when felt with hand. But it doesn’t scorch or burn your scalp or hair at all. There are multiple buttons on the back side of the unit. Two located on the arm, and three located on the back side of the barrel. The ones on the barrel are hard to press while using it without having to bring it down to eye level to change. But it’s not really a negative. Once you have your settings exactly how you want them they stay with the attachment. The color way is unique and a bit funky in a pleasant way. The design is beautiful but to be expected from Dyson. This is my first Dyson product so I don’t have another one or older model to compare to. But even my kids are interested in using it because of its unique design.
