So, I bought this to make in-game purchases on a game on my iPhone. Don't do that. Just because the game/app is associated with your EA/Origin login doesn't mean this can be used for in-game credit. This card should ONLY be used for PC or Mac games you're downloading. If you want in-app purchases, just make sure you have iTunes credit. Luckily, I was able to use this credit on the Origin web site and buy a physical disc (a different game for my PS4) - which I just found out that Origin is doing away with soon (like April/May 2014). Lesson learned. Thankfully, no harm, no foul.

I got this gift card for my mom to use for POGO games. They used to have one with pogo on the front of card, but those are out of stock now.i loaded this card onto her account and it worked great.

Origin cards are easy to load and use, the only draw back is that you can't split between Origin credit and a regular card for preorders, so make sure to load a lot of them for the full amount.

I like to get these cards in part to avoid using my credit card on gaming sites. With all the hacking going on I can pay on EA Origin site w/o exposing my CC.

Works as intended. Just follow the instructions. Great gift for kids without a credit card. Keep in mind Origin charges sales tax.

Great if your younger and don't have a credit card

Used this since I didn't want my card linked to Origin. Some advice though, if you use these cards on a pre-order like I did, Origin requires that you have the full amount in gift card credit or else the order won't go through (or require the full amount on a credit/debit card). So if you decide to go this route for pre-orders, just keep in mind you can't split GC credit and regular cash.

Long-derided Origin has quietly made some quality improvements, to the point there are now some things they do even better than Steam. If you find these cards on sale they're especially nice to but DLC for Bioware games, which can finally be purchased directly via Origin and rarely go on sale.
