This is borderline crossing bleeding "webcam" and a "traditional camera" into one! Took long enough! It has good quality for the price and ease of use, and the software offers a lot of adjustable settings...except one...it is using a 1 inch sony sensor found in a lot of their entry level camera's, which is known not just for its consumer friendly dynamic range but decent bokeh effect. What I am trying to get at is the focus length is firmware locked on auto it seems. So "Just Chatting" streamers looking for that nice slightly blurred background may have to look else where, but its not all bad the auto focus is pretty good! Just don't expect it to start doing anything fancy! :D

Purchased this for my game room. I stream for fun and the way Elgato makes it so easy to use makes this thing so much nicer. If you are looking for a stream camera LOOK NO FURTHER! This one is solid. User friendly with OBS and has its own spyware you can install to customize the display features. Absolutely love mine.

If you need simple or quick and not confusing and good quality. This is great. Specially if you’re still getting started. I’m impressed what this webcam can do, plus if you have invidia GPU it unlocks more adjustments like if you had a green screen or blur background. When I hooked this up with my laptop from Alienware with a readon GPU I did not have this options. I only found out when I plugged it in my built RIG with invidia GPU. So I am a Content Creator/Streamer on Facebook Gaming and I have been looking for a new camera for a while. DSLR cams were the dream but they are expensive. Then Elgato announced their new cam and I was impressed at first sight. I needed to try this out and I was lucky enough to get it after waiting a month for it to be sold on best buy. Let me tell you, the excitement I had has only grown more since getting it. Out of the box this cam is truly a big step in webcam tech. My visual is clear and precise, the colors are beautiful, and the software is what makes the hardware even better. I have never looked so great on my streams and I love it. If you are a content creator and you are looking for something in your budget but need high quality results from a webcam...Get this facecam!

I use this for a top down view of my keyboard and mouse. Usually you're better off just getting a Go Pro & a capture card, or some other cheaper camera + a capture card. But the picture quality here is actually impossible to beat at the price. It also maintains a solid frame rate, which is usually not the case with webcams. Good color science, decent noise levels. I'd definitely recommend this guy over other options if you're budget is only a couple hundred dollars. Heck I'd pick this up over almost anything unless you've got $600+ to work with.

Good quality, excellent for streaming, dosent do well in low light but with the right combination of lighting and web cam positioning you dont have to worry about the grainylook under low light, if your looking for something simple and good quality and price, this is the one.

The Camera/Facecam is Awesome, i absolutely recommend it. The mount is perfect for any monitor. The clarity and quality are great, i love that it comes with the lens cap to protect the lens and convenient for privacy. Streamimg with it is flawless and zoom calls are clear and the light sensors are really good, it works good in a low light setting, which is perfect for late night streams and gaming. The Full HD, Low Latency and The studio quality Lens is why i chose this, ever since i saw it at CES innovation rewards in 2022 where it won Honoree, I was finally able to get my hands on one and im definitely not going back to my old face cam brands. Elgato for life lol. If they come out with a really good 4K edition in the future i will definitely upgrade, but the storage/upload files are too large to be practical, especially with streaming services/youtube, etc. 1080p will honestly be fine for a few more years, so ill enjoy every minute of it while i can. I recommend Downloading OBS studio though as your software since it does not come with its own built in program, trust me you will thank me for that especially if your a streamer.

The app camera hub is broken and doesn’t work about a quarter of the time. Mind you it’s an easy fix but having to do it is tedious and pointless. The camera quality is really nice for a camera if this nature and it’s EXTREMELY light so be careful

Awesome camera with a great set up. Make sure you use the appropriate usb and the app isn’t so bad just gotta download it and learn it.

If you're a streamer, and you're looking for a webcam with dslr quality/capabilites, don't look any further than the elgato facecam!! It's a fraction of the cost of a good dslr camera.

very good webcam, Its a step up from the logitech c920. Just invest in good lighting and you're good to go.

This web cam works amazing! I love the quality and how easy it is to use, and it looks great as a part of my setup.

It's an excellent camera, but it constantly disconnects/reconnects when not in use. It's quite annoying, but it works when it needs to.

There are many webcams out there and most work pretty well. What makes the Elgato cam the top choice is the software it comes with. You can adjust as little or as much as you want. Automatic or manual adjustments can be made. Things like white balance, exposure, contrast, and zoom just to name a few.

Have the best view experience. You can take pictures from any angle. You don't have to stick to any angle. Very comfortable to look into and grade your appearance.
