Awesome mug. Does exactly what I wanted. I drink hot drinks all day long. Mostly coffee and tea. I leave the charging saucer on my desk and leave the mug in the saucer most of the day. But it's nice to use when I'm away from the desk and liquids hot with the battery. The first one I purchased would not update the firmware. It would get to 50% and disconnect. Received a replacement in a timely manner from Best Buy. Didn't update on the first try, but did when I tried it a few days later (hence 4 stars ILO 5). I don't really use the app much, but it is nice to have. The app is not really necessary to use after the initial set up. It's a bit pricey at full price, but BB had is on sale for almost 1/2 off, which made it a no-brainier. I have not experienced any chipping on the inside as I have read in other reviews, however, I take care in washing the mug and only use plastic spoons to stir the liquid inside. Yes, I would recommend to a friend and have.

I love having hot coffee at my exact temp till I finish my it, I like to take my time and enjoy my coffee. I purchased an ember mug for work and loved it so much I bought this mug for home. I highly recommend it, especially if your a coffee connoisseur.

I purchased this for my wife because she had a hard time keeping her cup of coffee warm with having a newborn to take care of. This got the job done. She can finally finish a cup of coffee without having to go to the microwave several times in a morning.

A little expensive for my taste but it made for a great gift for a friend which they have really enjoyed. They have kids which tend to distract them from enjoying a hot cup all at once!

Got this as a gift. My mom loves drinking coffee out of a open top mug, and this allows her to do that while keeping the coffee hot. She loves it. Got this on sale. Too expensive if bought at full price in my opinion.

Great way to drink your coffee hot in the morning . No need to reheat anymore, coffee stays hot for about 45 minutes. I gave this out for Christmas gifts and all have been very happy with this product.

My parent are retired and use these every morning as the read the news and have breakfast. They love how well these work at keeping their coffee at the perfect temperature.

Most time I will make a drink get distracted at work but these keep my drinks warm for hours. This is a premium product and not needed but nice to have if you will be using it daily.

Finally a way to drink coffee when I'm working and not have to microwave my coffee 10 times. A little spendy but once you start to use it you will like it. Will stay hot for a long time.

Works great. Charging pad is compatible with other mugs calling us to keep one in the kitchen and one at the office. Volume is perfect for a large brew of a KCup.

Really enjoying it. Before, would have to warm up coffee 3 or 4 times in microwave. It's amazing how cool to the touch the cup is, yet coffee inside is piping hot.

My wife can take 90 min to drink a cup of coffee. It used to require 4 trips to the microwave to warm it. Now it sits on her desk always the perfect temp to drink.

Bought this for my wife. This is our second Ember and this one bring bigger helps her heat more of her coffee up at one sitting. Works flawlessly.

This is perfect if you sip your drink slowly since it keeps it hot until you're done, and you can change the temperature with the app.

Use it almost every morning. The charge only lasts a little over an hour but that is fine with me. Easy to clean. Very durable.

A little pricey, BUT, does everything fantastic. Ended up buying a second one based on the satisfaction of the first one.

For something so luxurious that cost over ten times the item that it is trying to replace, I expected it to work better. But the battery life is 90 min in the best conditions, the app loses connection so often that I find myself resetting the mug daily... I've given up and am using it as a mug without smart features.
