Cools down the room, but loud asf

Probably not suitable for a bedroom depending on how light of a sleeper you are. Probably better for a living room area.

Quite and cool just what I was looking for

When I watched TV I had to have the volume up to #27. Although the a/c still cooled I replaced it with the Emerson Quite Cool. When I watch the TV the sound level is down to #12. Sleeping has improved as well.

It blows very cold and then shuts off at a reasonable amount of time period the sound is normal for a rue American dictionary but we are very happy with the purchase

Emerson (not so) Quiet Cool

I assumed the Emerson Quiet Cool would live up to its name. NOT!! The lowest fan setting blows very hard. Pair that with the compressor and it sounds like a diesel truck idling. The only plus is this unit cools very fast. Will be returning it.

Installation Nightmare

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The air conditioner works very well but it has gaps all around it when installed and they provide foam inserts to close them which are time consuming and not very attractive. All of our past air conditioners slid into the window and did not have this problem. The "dry mode" only works by making the area very cold in the process so when you turn it off, it increases the condensation in the room. Very disappointed, its not what we thought it would do. We just wanted to remove some humidity.
