I have hardwood floors. This vacuum cleans marvelously. It does appear to miss some small areas, but nothing serious. It is a little loud, so I schedule cleaning during my absence. It is great for cleaning under beds, can set it to do a spot cleanup and it will clean an area about 6' x 4'. It doesn't like loose cords or shaggy carpet edges. It can get stuck. Sometimes it will wedge itself into a corner, shut itself down and wait for help. Definitely recommend.

I start "Rosey" (remember the Jetsons?) every morning about 7 and she goes about her business for the next two hours. I have one navigational cube centrally placed and she dusts exactly the rooms I want done. When she's finished cleaning, she returns to where she started. I remove the cloth (regular or disposable, either work well) and marvel daily at all the dog/cat hair and other crud she picks up. Did I mention we have 3 cats and 2 dogs? This is EXACTLY why I wanted Rosey. She does exactly what I purchased her for and I couldn't be happier with her work. Plus, as an added bonus, she never complains!

Mint plus does a great job of cleaning the hard wood floor including picking up our dog hairs. It seems to go over the same area sometimes and get stuck often. The battery life is about 3/4 hours but sufficient to get the job done.

Picks up dust, cat hair very well. Very Quite, you have to be careful while it is running because you could trip over it.

This cleaner can clean my house floor fairly well and even better than my expectation. But BestBuy's service is quite disappointing. From the items description model 5200c should have a Turbo Charge cradle, but the product I received was actual 5200 and did not have the cradle. The online support, hotline support and email support all could not resolve the issues. I sent several emails to them, they even did not reply the emails.

Our condo is nearly 1,400 sqft of hardwood floors, all on one level. We bought the mint to do floor sweeping. It has worked perfectly. Its low height allows it to gets under items & the north star technology helps it to map the room. Admittedly, I like to have a cocktail and watch it bump into things while it learns space. I also think it follows my wife b/c she tends to drop things.... Definitely recommend this product. AW

Yes, it's not a vacuum, let's get that out of the way. But it's a great little sweeper, and a better mopper, and it's oddly fun to watch it do its work. I wouldn't suggest this product for any sort of deep cleaning, but with 5 pets in our house, it's awesome for a daily sweeping or every-other-day or more mopping (hardwood floors). Have run it several times this week and am quite the fan.

We moved into a new home with 1,800 sq ft of laminate and vinyl. It seemed to take hours to clean the floor and keep it clean. I started researching steamers, scuba, roombas, etc. and saw the infomercial for the Mint. As I researched, I thought this would be great for me. I was so happy it is a Best Buy product because Best Buy stands behind what they sell. It is a vote of confidence. My husband was skeptical. A robot swifter he thought when I brought it home. He was amazed what it gathers in the cloth. We have a dog. When I sweep his fur balls take off in all directions. The Mint gathers all the fur and dirt giving me a clean floor while I’m at work or at home doing something else. I use it every few days. It came with two dry cleaning cloths and two wet cleaning cloths. These are easily machine washable. The Mint has a reservoir for the wet cloths. At first I thought it was small, but more water makes the floor streaky. You can use whatever solution you prefer. The Mint works The floors are cleaner than if I sweep by and and I don’t have to spend the time to do it. I don’t use Swifter cloths as much as I thought I would, but it is nice to have that option. Also, it is cute. When it charges the light flashes softly like Evie on the Disney movie Wall-E.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my wife. She already has an iRobot Vacuum and has been wishing there was one that would mop our dark hardwood floors. I considered the iRobot Scooba, but its cost and negative reviews got me looking at the Mint Plus instead. My wife loves this thing! It does a great job wet wiping the floors. It does not have a vacuum and really does nothing more than push a wet microfiber cloth up and down the floors, but it does it well. We just pick up the large items that fall on the floor (we have 3 girls under the age of 4) and then set the Mint to work. The maintenance is really minimal. After it is done, just take the microfiber cloth off and rise it off. Having the charging base is an option I would recommend you get. For one it gets the Mint out of the way when it is charging and the other reason is that it just looks cool. We have very dark hardwood floors throughout the kitchen, living and dining room and this saves my wife the daily fight of keeping the footprints, dog hair and general grime in check. It is not for deep cleaning or removing tough stuck on stuff, but it does an awesome job of wet wiping the floors. We love it and more importantly my wife LOVES it. It is easy to use, has very little maintenance and is QUIET. You almost can't hear it running and I have almost stepped on it a few times when I wasn't paying attention. I would recommend this to anyone that needs a hand with the daily wipe-downs. It doesn't have a feature to automatically return to the dock to charge, but not a huge deal.

I love the mint floor cleaner! It works best on hard wood floors! It mops tile floors great too. The only negative is that it doesn't do as great on dusting the tile floors. Where the grout is slightly lower then the tiles, it allows larger/heavier (pine needles, crumbs) to settle in the grout. So, when I do my tile floors, I quickly just vacuum them and then let the mint mop! It is a bit pricey but with the time it saves me mopping and dusting my hard wood floors, well worth it!

I love my robot. I put in down and turn it on and it does the rest. It sweeps and mops like a dream.

Love my Mint Plus Floor Cleaner - will never be without it. I have hardwood floors and it cleans them great!! Would highly recommend it!

this ting is fabulous on hardwood floors. we have 3 dogs and 2 of those shed hair bad. This picks up hair and dirt great. we do have to clean the hair from the cloth every so often but that is to be expected. It really saves a lot of back breaking sweeping and mopping. Best purchase I have made in a Looooong time.

I have a 3 year old, a white haired dog, a messy husband, and 1600 sq feet of dark hardwood floors! I used to hv to vacuum twice a day and mop once a day... Not fun. This little guy we call our robot has done wonders. I turn it on before bed and wake up to beautiful floors! I lovvvve it! I recommend it!

I love it I set it and forget it I have to go find it sometimes its like having a dog,I even have a pet name for it.

not good for dog hair or even remotely heavy workload. not powerful enough motor. too small, not enough floor coverage..

We've loved the Mint Cleaner. Totally makes mopping super easy! Not perfect, but we knew what it does and doesn't do well before we bought it, so it met our expectations quite well.

I decided to treat myself to a little help with house work. Even bought the protection plan. It was over $520 out the door only to get it home and it barely works! And please understand, because I don't think I fully grasped the concept, that it IS NOT A VACUUM! It's simply a smart devise that travels around your house with a microfiber towel (or swifter cloth) and picks up dust that way. So there's ALWAYS something left over that you'll need to sweep up! And the mop feature is a JOKE! I've had it go over my floors twice now and there's still stuff left over! BUT let me be fair...I have black hardwood floors so I need a product like this that's truly amazing to substitute the "elbow grease" I put into cleaning my floors...and this product IS NOT IT! Needless to say it's going back tonight!

Lousy product, very poor customer service and would not honor warranty. I would buy a different product.
