This (c3x) was my 4th camera from EZVIZ. I was quite happy with the first 3, so I got this one. BIG mistake. it worked OK for a couple weeks but in the past few days it's just not doing anything that it's supposed to. First, the cloud service only works about 25 % of the time. and when it DOES work, the video is very choppy and skips very badly. AND I get tons of false notifications. The custom messaging feature does not work, it plays back my pre-recorded message at such a low volume, you cant hear it unless you are a couple inches away. Been on the phone to customer service at least half-dozen times and they have not helped at all. They keep telling me to remove the device from the app and then re-ad it. or restart the camera, then re-ad...then uninstall app, re-install. To no avail,nothing helps. :-( At one point, I was very happy with these cameras, but not anymore. I'm returning the C3X as soon as I can get it down from my house. the others, unfortunately, are past the return window. Other cameras are also having trouble with the cloud service/function and false notifications. They are the C3N, and the C1C. I can still get SOME use out of these, BUT I will cancel the cloud service, it is NOT worth the money. I highly recommend not buying the C3X and also the other models as well.

These cameras do such a great job, I had some blind spots in my security system where I didn’t have dedicated cameras or lighting systems, so I went with these to see if they would fix the holes I had. The quality of build and of images they produce is incredible, it was exact what I needed to fill in the gaps on my system!

Excellent camera with smart AI features! Great night vision and optics! Highly recommended if you want accurate alerts and minimal false alerts! Easy to setup, install and use!

I'm not a fan of it having to be plugged to an outlet for being outside bc I don't have any outside & the cord is too short to run inside. Overall the picture actually isn't too bad. I don't care for the alarm setting for EVERYTHING that makes it go off. It does pick up shadows as motion fairly often but other than that, no issues as of yet. Fingers cross bc I'm not a fan of the new Blink outdoor cams or the Arlo Pro 3.

Good camera for the price.no cloud membership needed.access from app from anywhere you are.resolution on app is not that great.but it lets you download clips and video looks better when downloading it to your phone or tablet.

Really great camera. Im loving this design and so easy to install. It actually came one day earlier than expected. Thank you Santa i mean best buy $$!

High quality security camera. I got it installed about a week ago and have been very impressed with the features and crisp video. The night vision is better than any other camera I have used before and so far have not had any false alarms (recordings with no activity.) Now I want to try their indoor cameras and put some in my son's room.

Camera takes good photos BUT, directions in box don’t match the app or the device, directions stop when installation is done—no operating directions, and it won’t stay connected to the net. Call tech support and they’re on another continent. Their help is not very helpful. This might work better with a modem booster, but their help doesn’t even mention this, which I asked about. Oh, resetting the device means taking it down, putting it next to your modem, and removing two tiny screws. Hours of effort to make this thing work(:

This camera is excellent outdoor day and night have clear view.

Difficulties getting it to connect..the router needs to be relatively close to the camera when in use.

They are great do just what I want them to.They cam in on time and ordering was easy.

I've really enjoyed this camera so far. Works flawlessly with really advanced features. The color night vision works fantastic compared to other cameras I've used and I haven't had any false alerts so far. My favorite thing is being able to record my own message that comes out of the camera though. I've been having fun with it and my kid loves it. Overall it looks like I have a high tech piece of equipment in my driveway and I feel that's enough to deter any unwanted activity. The only thing I wish is that it was battery powered, but wiring it seems to the appropriate method to deliver the high performance features it has. I've used battery cameras before and they just seem limited...
