My wife wanted this so that she could keep track of her steps for he companys wellness program. It is also helping her keep track of her sleeping habits which is kind of neat in that it tels her how long she has been sleeping and wether it was a light sleep or REM sleep. She would like to use it when swimming but this model is not water resistant.

Overall, very satisfied with the Fitbit. I love tracking my sleep patterns, and, having anxiety, it's wonderful for monitoring my heart rate during anxiety attacks. The notifications option is my favorite feature. When receiving a call or text, it's great to look at the notification on my Fitbit if my phone isn't in my direct vicinity. My only qualm is that the step monitoring isn't exactly accurate. Moving your arm back and forth for various activities registers as steps.

If you are looking for a basic fitness tracker this is the product for you. Step counter, HR monitor, notifications while paired to your phone (texts & phone calls) all work fine. Switching bands on the fly is very easy and there tons of different bands online. Battery life is great. But keep in mind this does the basics as opposed to a smartwatch that does 1000 things more but lacks the same battery life duration. I really do not have much complaints of this device.

Love the watch! Everything about it is great. GPS works astoundingly. Easy to pair with phone. Battery life will last you quite a while.

I love my fitbit! I like how it monitors my sleep, my steps, and my heart rate. It encourages me to be active. I like how it works with my IPhone to notify me of calls on my iPhone, and text messages. It can be a little uncomfortable at night to wear, if you want to monitor your sleep. I like how you can change watch bands on it with no problem.

This is my first fitness tracker and I needed one which included heart rate. Easy set up on the computer to connect to your tracker and phone. The phone display includes a dashboard summary and additional detailed screens. I like the sleep monitoring as well as the fitness monitoring. The tracking seems to be fairly accurate. Two recommendations (and why 4 star instead of 5): It is not waterproof and you have to remove it during charging so you can't track activity while it is off.

This is a good quality heart rate tracker... the small one fits my 12 year old well. We wanted something inexpensive that worked well.

This helps track my sleep cycle which I love, motivates me to walk more with goals, and shows me how many calories I've burned so far!

This model does have the heart rate feature and that was a requirement from my son for whom we purchased this. Pros: ability to receive smart phone notifications when away from the smart phone (texts, calls, calendar), tracking goals, fairly long battery life - have to recharge every 2 to 3 days. Heart Rate feature Cons: bulkier than the Alta model

LOVE the charge 2! It monitors my heart rate, sleep and activity. I love being able to look down and check how many steps I have in for the day. The battery is long lasting. I only charge it once a week. The app lets you monitor lots of other things like calories in and out and water intake. Great way to keep track of and make improvements to your health!

I upgraded to the Fitbit Charge 2 and I love it! It tracks steps, heart rate, various exercises and I can even get text/call alerts!

I would recommend for any one who wants to reach their goals and want to know heart rate and how much sleep you are really getting.

I love my Fitbit Charge2. I wanted one that would count my stairs because I am trying to climb more. So I got Charge2. I thought I could not care about heart rate, but since this has it, I found out how much I am enjoying looking at it. All the numbers encourage me to do a little bit more. And I am also trying to improve my sleep pattern. The only negatives are the price, and the fact that it is rather big.

The Charge 2 is not too big so it looks nice on your wrist. It keeps you motivated throughout the day. Gotta get the 10,000 steps. Battery life is good. Much better than the original fitbit.

I purchased this fitbit after my fitbit charge hr broke. I love this fitbit. It is a much better design for charging, and it is easy to use. I like the little motivational notes it pops up every now and then. If you were thinking about a fitbit, I would say this one is definitely worth the money! Go buy one! Go on...what are you waiting for?

I hesitated on purchasing this only. I tend to be very picky with electronics and didnt want to actually wear one daily. I love this watch! It has its functions for fitness, calorie intake (the app is great!), alarm mode, I can even read my text messages on it. I use it when I work out but I consistently have used it more to track my sleeping patterns. The breakdown of my sleep patterns is incredible. It is what I show people when asked if I use it for only fitness purposes. Would buy again and again.

Bought this for my wife, and she loves this tracker, easy to use and it does everything thing that she wanted. Lasts about 5 days on a charge. Easy to use apps and seems to be very accurate. Very comfortable to wear. Did allot of research, but chose this model as it fit nicely around her wrist. She hardly even notices it at night. Great buy so far.

Love the fitbit charge HR 2. Keeping track of activity, heart rate, and sleep is awesome. I love that when I get a call or text, my fitbit alerts me of who is calling or texting. The text message even comes across the screen. I also like that you can now interchange the bands. Highly recommend, as I also convinced my mom to purchase one for herself.

Easy to read and program, easy to keep statistics, provides suggested exercises and has heart monitor. Battery life is 4 days.
