I moved from a Charge HR to this. I kept having troubles with bands coming apart from the device. This new style is working. I thought it was a larger monitor and might be bulky with my small wrist but I don't have concerns and forget it is there. I love the ability to keep track of my various activities by time and heartrate. The matching app is nice and let's me know where I fall with others my age as to fitness. The battery lasts longer than my past device. Than I s to fitbit for standing behind my warranty. Both product offerings and warranty support keep me with fitbit. Hoping someday they will have one that can monitor my hr while swimming. Then it would be perfect.

Great Entry Level Watch for Small Wrists

I originally purchased the Polar A360 for my wife, however after trying it a couple times she didn't like it because it was too big for her wrist (she has very small wrists) and according to her it wasn't as user friendly. After talking to a coworker about the Fitbit Charge 2, my wife and I went to Best Buy one evening after dinner and purchased this for her. She likes it because it's small, very easy to use - the menus are very intuitive and since she already had the Fitbit app on her iPhone 6s for the Fitbit One, everything synced up to My Fitness Pal app as well. She uses it for walking and other sweaty workouts, but she hasn't taken it in the pool or the shower. In case something happens to it, we purchased the Geek Squad protection plan to be on the safe side. So far it's holding up and it still looks like new after a lot of good use - she uses just a damp towel to clean it up on on occasion but nothing more. Another plus about this watch is the charger - it's straightforward because it clips on to the watch, and there's no guessing whether it's on correctly because there's a hole on one side of the clip where the watch side mode button sticks through. For an everyday activity watch and workouts, this is a great watch. If you're looking for more options like GPS tracking without taking your phone along, or more workout options, you may want to consider a different watch (I have the Garmin Vivoactive HR and it's certainly one I recommend if you need more options). For my wife, the Fitbit Charge 2 is perfect for strenuous walks, walking the dog, high intensity aerobic exercises or just casual wear when she's not in the mood to wear her Apple Watch. Overall a good buy.

tracks your heart rate, sleep, steps - pretty much everything. The size is nice for those who don't want something too thick. its about as thick as your middle finger.

Got this to replace my Samsung Gear2 after the band broke in such a way that it was impossible to repair. Love the features on the Fitbit and it's slightly more compact than my Gear2 yet has all the bells and whistles I need. Glad I made the switch -- it holds a charge much longer too!!

I got the Fitbit Charge for all 3 of my children and it was a huge hit. My 9 year old son kept upping his step goal because he kept exceeding it. He is now at 20k steps and meeting it every day. My teen daughters are excited about tracking their steps and their sleep (never enough!).

This watch is everything it says it is. It is awesome for keeping track of my sleep and heart rate, which is why I bought it. I just don't like the fact that it isn't at all waterproof. I feel that's a major design flaw, what with all the competition being waterproof. It could also be more comfortable. Love the look though! And the function is Perfecto.

I bought the Fitbit Charge 2 to help me keep an eye on my heart rate and what's stressing me out and to remind me to breathe, and it works. I also need the reminder to move when I'm sitting at work, and the steps, distance and calorie tracking are great motivators!

My husband got one of these first, and really wanted to get me one too. They only have small & large sizes. I ended up getting the small (I am a female with average size wrists) & it fits fine. I wear it on the 5th hole out of 10, so it would fit a very small wrist as well. It has a ton of features & a great app. I really like the sleep tracking feature. It's reads all the stages of sleep: REM, deep, light & awake/restless. And of course it counts your steps, heart rate, flights of stairs etc. It also gives you a preview of texts & calls. Overall a great motivational tool & has pretty neat other features.

I absolutely love my fitbit. It is very stylish (once I changed bands), keeps a charge for about a week, and is super functional. I use it not only as a watch but as a heart rate monitor. The app is very user friendly as well and has increased my healthy lifestyle

Full disclaimer, this has only been in use for about 2 days. I will update if there are any major changes to my opinion about it. Initial impression: Nice fit, well designed band and clasp, seems accurate so far, software needs work This is 2017, and a fitness tracker that can NOT show the battery status on the device is UNFORGIVABLE! This is a huge deal, especially for a device that is advertised to give 5-6 days of usage, it is critical to be able to check it on the fly. How hard is it to add a screen to show the current charge percentage? The app is also not great, while it displays the battery status, it only displays it as "full, medium, low" and it also seems a little "glitchy" as it does not always sync steps properly, leaving a disparity between the device and the app.

I’ve had the original Fitbit and the first charge. This is the best. Battery life is excellent. I had to buy a second one because I scraped the screen on my first one at work. I bought a screen protector this time. You can’t even tell that the protector is on.

The Fitbit Charge2 is more than i expected. It tracks my activity, keeps perfect time as a watch, is really unobtrusive and beautifully designed. It syncs seamlessly, and the battery life is phenomenal. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

I am so excited that I purchased the FitBit. I had heard a lot about it, but didn't realize all that it did. I swear by it now. I have been on a fitness program since Jan. 1 and my fitbit goes everywhere with me. I love that I can track my calorie intake and what I burn, water intake, exercise, steps, heartrate and my sleeping patterns. I also learned that I can review exercises to do if I can't go to the gym or walk. You can also set up different activities that will tell you how many steps you are taking. Now I depend on it so much. I can't imagine not having it.

I wear mine daily and love it! My favorite functions are that I can track trends in my activity levels, get notifications, see my heart rate (or an approximation), and set fitness goals. The App has allowed me to join groups with other Fitbit owners that have similar interests, join challenges, earn badges, and make workout buddy friends worldwide. It’s invaluable. I wish the official bands were still sold in stores and came in more colors, but that is minor and other than that I have no complaints!

I initially got this Fitbit so that I could measure my distances as I was training for an upcoming marathon, but this Fitbit doesn't just stop there. It gives you a food and hydration tracking system as well as a weight management feature. It tells you your sleep cycles and how well you're sleeping and even buzzes when you get a text message. It even lets you know your heart health levels and gives you advice on how to improve it. Another thing I loved about this device is how you can connect to an entire community of people doing different activities.

I have been using this product for a while and like it, Especially the battery backup, it last for more than a week. Properly counts steps, floors, active mins, and hear rate. I would have been more helpful if they had designed to use normal usb power cable rather than fitbit specific power adapter. I recommend this.

Bought this for my wife. She is not very tech-savvy. Has an iPhone and laptop but doesn't really get into the features that much. I was concerned I would have to set this up for her as the "designated IT guy" in the family (lol). I couldn't have been more wrong. I sat next to her but she was able to do all the syncing on her own. This is a very simple, effective fitness tool that also sends her notifications when she gets text or calls. She absolutely loves it!!! I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to track steps, workouts, heart-rate, sleep and more.

I like the fact that it keeps track of your sleep pattern, you can wear it in water more than 5 feet. My favorite feature is that you’re u can personalize it with your own watch face, and change it to the season. Easy to set up and use.
