Doesn't lay flat enough to work

Owned for 10 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Never ended up laying flat after removing it from the box after waiting weeks for it to setting before use . Despite being on low carpeting (<1/4 inch), the office chair's wheels have put permanent divots in the mat that created even more waves in the end of the mat that prevent it from laying flat.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review on our Cleartex Advantagemat, we are very sorry to hear that you are unsatisfied with the performance of this product. Our Advantagemat’s are made from heat sensitive PVC material, after unrolling we recommend leaving the mat in a warm room for up to 72 hours with heavy objects such as books placed on each corner to help the mat lay flat. While this mat is suitable for carpets up to 1/4 inch, this does include the carpet underlay, a thicker carpet underlay creates more space between the mat and the subflooring which can lead to divots forming on the mat’s surface. In this case, please may you send some photos of your mat and flooring to our customer service team who can investigate this issue further?
