Good at pulling moisture out of area, but louder than advertised. Also uses a fair amount of air flow, so somewhat of a fan of warm air. Good when wet and chilly, but not so good when weather is already warm.

This is one of the best dehumidifiers out there. This summer has been so humid I have run it on continuous operation since purchasing it. It has done a great job keeping the humidity down in an 1100 square foot area. I read reviews from several different sites prior to this purchase. This unit was highly recommended by most all of them. Glad I purchased. The store was helpful in locating this for me.

Attractive exterior, easy setup. Bucket is rather small and fills quickly; it also has no provision for easy emptying-- but neither do either of my other 2 from the same mfr. Bucket is awkward to get out and put back in, but again, that's true of various dehumidifiers. Noisy at high fan speeds but less intrusive on low fan speed. Having had many dehumidifiers over the years, I can say this is a good one. Hope it doesn't get recalled like the last one....

Did the research and the previous year's model got high reviews, so decided to take the chance on this model being just as good. Have had it for over a month that was very raining, and it is doing a good job.

It has been worked for more than half year in my basement drying the whole space, which is about 1500 square feet. Very reliable and quiet enough.

This thing certainly a workhorse of a dehumidifier!! And does it all quietly!! It turned a slightly damp basement into the most comfortable area of the whole house!! I have to empty it often which just confirms it's efficient. It has the option to drain continuously with the included hose adapter; I may end up doing that because I just can't keep up with emptying this thing. Good buy.

Bought this unit to keep our Michigan Basement humidity below 55%. During the Summer it costs about .70 cents per day. Does a great job. You'll need to buy a separate drain hose.

This dehumidifier works well. It is quiet and easy to empty. My first thought when our old one died during our rainy spring was Home Depot. They were out due to heavy demand. Luckily I thought of Best Buy. We even had a gift card. Our neighbor was looking for one too. I recommended Best Buy...they bought the 70 pint model and got a great deal too.

We loved this unit so much that we bought a second one for upstairs. The unit is heavy but is on wheels so can be moved easily. We use each one in a space about 700 sq feet and the reservoir fills up about every 14 hours (it's great for watering our plants!). The house is cooler and smells more fresh. The downside of the unit is the noise. It's not unbearable but we sometimes shut if off while watching tv at night.

This dehumidifier works very well. It is fairly quiet also. It does produce warm air when operating though, but when in a larger space not so noticeable.

The dehumidifier is very quite and efficient--quite an improvement from my previous Haier. However, the bucket is too small and has to be emptied more often than I'd like even for my small basement. My basement is not wet or all that damp, I thought, just average. I'd use the drain hose but I run it on the opposite side of the basement from the floor drain so it is not an option. Plus I like to collect the water for watering plants.

Read past BB and other online reviews and thought it would be the best fit for me. Some reviews were disappointed that it did not give an accurate humidity reading so I bought a humidity monitor which seemed like a good idea anyway. The unit is quiet and pulls moisture quickly. Have only had the unit about a month but it does everything expected.

I bought this about 2 months ago. I installed a Nest thermostat and it was reading 68% humidity in my house, so I went out and bought this machine! It works well and has done a good job keeping the humidity down in my house! It's easy to move around and empty. The only down side of this machine is it blows out warm air into the room. So I would not keep it somewhere you want to stay cool!
