Have a large finished basement and this de-humidifier does a great job in keeping the humidity at an acceptable level.

Frigidaire - 70-Pint Dehumidifier has done a good job of removing excess moisture from out basement and has maintained a constant level for weeks now.

This was a replacement for ours that finally wore out. It works as expected and is quieter than what we had before.

I bought this thing a few weeks ago. Works great and is very quiet. It puts off some heat from the process of removing humidity. Never had one of these before so that was a surprise. But it keeps the humidity at a low level in an old basement. Didn't notice any change in my electric bill... so that's a big plus.

It really dried up my basement in short period. also the size is perfect. It works much better than I expected.

I am very pleased with this dehumidifier. It I relatively quiet, for a dehumidifier. I have had it for a month, no issues. I set it at 45 or 50 and it goes on and off. The bucket is easy to empty, sometimes it is filled to the brim, so I am careful not to spill it. it moves easily on wheels. I highly recommend this dehumidifier.

This is the quietest dehumidifier I've ever met. My basements humidity levels were over 70% I purchased this baby and now the basement is very comfortable. I cut an old hose and hooked it up to drain into the washtub. It doesn't throw off a lot of heat either. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

I live in Michigan, where the humidity is seldom less than 70% and you can rarely dig deeper than six feet without striking water. This fall, I had a sump pump failure, resulting in about six inches of water in my finished (carpeted and dry-walled) basement. I got the sump working to drain the water, then used a wet-vac to draw as much water as I could out of the wall-to-wall carpet. My old dehumidifier wasn't working so I bought this one. This thing was a delight to use. It was filling up the tank twice-a-day during the first week when the carpet was really wet. The tank has a very convenient handle for carrying, and made it very easy to empty. the tank snaps back into place very solidly. I also have to say, it is the nicest-looking dehumidifier I've ever seen. Although that doesn't have anything to do with its function, it actually does make the experience of emptying or tending it much more pleasant. I keep the humidity setting at 50% now, and it keeps the basement dryer than upstairs. I highly recommend this beautiful machine that works beautifully.

This is my first dehumidifier so I can't really compare. Just my thoughts of using this is that it is a bit loud for a room and it does heat up the room a bit. I've had it for two summers (my second right now) and I feel that it' not working as well as last summer. The tank fills up slower and the humidity goes down slower

Dehumidifier is efficient, and is keeping our windows clear of condensation this winter. It is pretty quiet compared to our old unit, but gets a bit noisy during the defrost cycle or if you run it at high. It takes a lot of water out of the air.

Using in a partial below grade basement apartment. It has done a great job at bringing down the humidity.

this dehumidifier has been working great. We have a large basement and it removes a lot of moisture every day. We bought some clear tubing to install in the back and connect to drainiage so we don't have to keep emptying the bucket. You can see the water that it's collecting and if it's working. Since most dehumidiers break easily (many reviews say within a year or just outside of warranty), we purchased the Geek Squad protection for 4 years.

The dehumidifier is running continually in my utility room. It is quiet and keeps the humidity at 35%.

I live in an 850 sq foot mobile home that has condensation issues, within 24 hours my condensation problem was under control. My only "gripe" is I wish I had a spot where I could continuously drain, as I'm empting the tank 2-3 times a day. That's not frigidaire's fault though, so 5 stars for a great product.
