We bought this dehumidifier for our basement and this product has met our expectations. It has reduced the humidity significantly and reduced the musty smell from the air. We empty the bucket a couple times daily. It does not overflow because it shuts off when the bucket is full.

Bought it to replace my old one which stopped working after about 15y, It is a lot quieter than the old one.

I have been using this dehumidifier for about a month. It was simple to set up and the humidistat is simple to adjust and easy to see. So far I'm impressed with it. I have it set on "auto" so it is running 24 hours a day. My house is 1,000 sq ft on a concrete slab and apparently has no vapor barrier. I am emptying the water reservoir every 30 to 34 hours, so it's certainly doing it's job. It is quiet and I find the reservoir easy to remove and empty; obviously a design engineer was involved because it has a handle, which I love! I bought this brand and model because the reviews and ratings were all outstanding, and I would have to say that at this point I would recommend it. When I first unpacked it I was concerned I had bought more capacity than I needed, but now that it's been running I'm glad I bought the 70 pint model. I'm hoping I don't experience premature failure of the unit as some have reported.

This is a quiet dehumidifier . It works great and i would recommend it to anyone who needs a dehumidifier.

This sleek and attractive unit works well for our finished basement. Those that note not being able to see how full the bucket is, there is a circle on the front that shows the water level in the bucket. In addition, it beeps three times when full and there is a red display light on the top. We went with the 70 -pint vs. the 50-pint based on others recommendations. I can't say I notice a huge different between the number of times we need to empty it.

This is a good dehumidifier for the price. I've been using it in my basement and seems to do the job well.

First off, I bought an open box "excellent" item. Delivery was faster than I expected, and the manual and everything was in the box as expected. The 70 pint was comparable to the 50 pint in size, and I am glad that I got the 70 pint because it pulls moisture out of the air faster. Noise is okay. Not so loud that you can't hear anything over it, but loud enough that you don't want to watch TV with it in the same room. I have run it both in continuous mode and at a preset humidity level. Works as expected. I like how it shuts off automatically and gives an audible signal when the bucket needs to be emptied. Haven't had to empty it as often, but I imagine it depends on the humidity level and the power level that it is running on. Bought a cheap humidity monitor for $10 and have used it to see how well it is lowering the humidity. Seems to work rather well for what I paid for it.

I bought this product for a sunny Corner room with weak air conditioning and where I store items that must remain dry The unit performs as promised It is easy to move on its wheels, and easy to drain and clean Also not unreasonably loud Reliable Good product Would buy it again

Great dehumidifier . Keeps the basement area dry and (almost) cricket free as a result !

After reading many product reviews, we purchased this unit. We have an old house with a sometimes damp and musty basement, This dehumidifier is a workhorse! It has exceeded our expectations in our entire basement. BB had a competitive price. Highly recommend attaching a drain hose.

Had to replace our 25 year old dehumidifier so chose this one after a lot of looking around and reading reviews. This works so fast and efficient. This is pulling far more moisture from our basement. Spent a little more for quality and very happy we did!

The Frigidaire FFAD7033R1 is a great dehumidifier. It pulls out the moisture quickly. The only down point is the small catch tank. I have to drain it twice to prevent the unit from shutting down. On the positive side it is more quiet than my previous unit.

I have an 1100 sq foot ranch with a full basement. I bought this to put in my basement. I noticed my cold water pipe getting a lot of condensation on them this summer so I wrapped them but the parts that I could not wrap were still dripping pretty bad. My basement runs the full length of my house so probably another 1100 sq feet. I bought this humidifier to take the moisture out of the basement air. I have it draining into a floor drain so I never have to empty it. When I originally put it in the humidity down there was at about 70% even with the central air on now my basement is a comfortable 45 to 50% always. This thing works wonders down there. My basement is pretty wide open with the exception of a half bath that the door stays open all the time and a furnace hot water heater room with an open doorway. I am very happy with this purchase, it did the job for me.

The Frigidaire 70 pint dehumidifier is quiet and with an energy star rating, it's about as efficient as I could find. It replaced a Haier that was in a word awful - noisy, energy hungry and simply did a poor job. with luck, this unit will last a good number of years.
