pulls lots of humidity out of the air. does a great job

This dehumidifier has made a huge impact on our home. The air feels cleaner and we all feel less sluggish. You can adjust the humidity level you'd like very easily and it is very easy to empty.

This dehumidifier can keep my entire basement at 45% humidity or 40% if I wish. I like the fact that I can discharge the water directly into the floor drain. It is also very quiet.

Got this for our basement which has had dampness issues since we built, so we needed a dehumidifier that would work in a cool area. Seems to work well and is fairly quiet.

We bought this for our damp basement. Very easy to setup and use. Removing the tank to dump the water takes a bit of technique but not too hard. Runs reasonably quiet too. We are pleased

Very effective at reducing humidity level in finished basement. Easy setup in a few minutes. Wish collection tank was bigger, but its performance more than offsets the size of tithe tank.

Excellent quality, easy unit to unpack, plug in, and use. Dried my basement in a couple of hours and keeps it comfortable. The basement has not been this dry since the house was built.

Bought this to replace an old one that finally bit the dust. This dehumidifier was a godsend this summer. It runs fairly quiet, and seemed to remove a lot more moisture than my older model.

Does a great job getting rid of moisture in the basement. Runs nice and quiet,and have it set up to drain of the hose so don't have to worry about dumping tank.well pleased.

The dehumidifier was easy to manipulate. The controls are complete. the capacity (70 pts) is large and the dehumidifier accumulates that amount very fast. The dehumidifier is reasonably compact and very mobile because of the extending/retracting handle and built-in 360 degree casters. The water pan is easy to remove and install (although 70 pints of water could be too heavy for some. I did some price shopping, but did not easily find a vendor with the latest model I purchased from Best Buy. In addition, I decided to forget the shopping around and just buy from Best Buy, because of my previous purchases and support and sales personnel from the Store.

Did a lot of research before buying. What I found is that longevity of all brands has declined in recent years. Don't expect any new dehumidifier to last 15 years like the old ones did. This brand seems to hold up a bit longer than the others but buying the 4 year warranty was recommended just in case. Buy the 70 pint over the 50 pint as it is more efficient and you will get the price difference back in electricity bill savings. Noise is not an issue for me so I did not consider it. Humidity meter is off by 5%. Buy a separate accurate humidity meter so you know the reality and adjust the number for your desired humidity accordingly.

purchased this unit in May have been using it for a couple of weeks and no problems. It's quiet and efficient and does the job well in our basement. Great product

I researched dehumidifiers heavily on The Wirecutter site before making this purchase and this model is the recommended brand from them. So far I am quite happy with the unit. We keep it in our utility room with the washer and dryer, which seems to be the most humid part of our house that spreads out to other rooms. It effectively keeps the humidity around 55-60% when running continuous. The water bucket is easy to hold with the built in handle and I've had no issues with it running continuously for about a month now. I just hooked a new hose up to the drain port so time will tell if the continuous drain function is effective, but otherwise, this is a great dehumidifier that gets the job done. I'm very glad I made the purchase.

I bought this dehumidifier to replace one in my basement. It works in low temperature which is important in the winter when the temp drops in the basement. Other units have frosted over. Also it was important to be able to hook a hose to it to keep from having to empty the bucket all the time. This unit had all the features that were important to me.

Does a good job of removing moist air in my basement, Which is about 1800 sq. feet. Isn't too noisy. I used the hose connection so I never have to empty it. Set it and forget it.

Great job of regulating humidity in my basement and does not have to run a lot to do so. Easy to setup and operate. Attaching a hose to let it drain continuously is nice.

I bought this unit to replace another dehumidifier that was recalled by the manufacturer (not Frigidaire). This unit works better and is less expensive than our old one!

BB was the only store who had this in stock, and on sale. I put this to use in my unfinished basement. Just as the reviews said,this is a great product. Still need to hook up the direct drain. I highly recommend this dehumidifier.
