My old dehumidifier died this spring. We have a large space in the lower level of our house including a large family room as well as a laundry room. It does get humid in the summertime so I have always run a dehumidifier. The Frigidaire is doing a better job than the last dehumidifier we had. It takes a lot of water out of the air and keeps the room comfortable.

Read the good reviews and had a friend who had the 30pint version of the same model. It's amazingly quiet compared to the old one it replaced. First 70 pint model I have ever owned and was *astounded* at how quickly it filled in our finished basement. Allows you to bring humidity down quickly without rendering the space uninhabitable due to noise.

Water came into the garage unexpectedly and I had to act fast. It was caused by rain water so had to address it quickly: lots of things stored in the garage to keep them dry, so I hit the reviews and settled on this model. It took a few days, but it sucked the air and the water standing on the floor without ever slowing down! The collector "drawer" is a little awkward to handle, no spring assistance to push it out, so the first few times I was pulling the cart with my attempt to pull it out. Locking wheels might be in order! And putting it back in is simple although be sure you have it lined up, and again the rolling can affect this action too. It holds a lot of water and turns off when full so it will not flood the floor again. I wish the floor hadn't gotten flooded, but I am glad I found this unit. Thinking it will be useful when I paint the interior walls, not that any documentation states that, but if it is humid weather when I paint I think it would be a benefit to use it then.

I use to have a 75 pint whirlpool that lasted 9 years. It just failed on me last month. The reviews were so good on the Frigidaire that I decided to try it. I got a great price at Best Buy and bought one. When I first started it I didn’t know if I would like it or not but now I’m thinking about getting s second one I love it so much.

This product has been working continuously for me for a few weeks now. It's relatively quiet, although it doesn't sit in a high use area. Only a couple complaints, and I consider them minor: The included water reservoir could be higher capacity. Also, the clear, circular how-full-am-I indicator could have a small backlight. I can't see the fill level without getting almost all the way to the ground.

Moved into a new house and the basement had a somewhat musty smell to it and slight moisture. After using this for a bit both are gone its actually pretty amazing. My parents told me to get one and I didnt believe that the price was worth it but it has been fantastic just set and forget it. I just empty it every morning before work no biggie.

Within a few days after hooking up the new dehumidifier, we could tell a decided difference in our basement. The dampness had disappeared and the unit was functioning well. The previous two dehumidifiers we had purchased (not from Best Buy, regretfully) lasted about three years each, and we are optimistic that this one will last much longer.

With all the rain in the northeast this year, my basement takes on a small layer of water when the ground is super saturated. I have this dehumidifier running with the drain directly into the sump so it is basically maintenance free. It handily keeps the RH in the basement around 50% so as to avoid mold and musty smells.

Most modern dehumidifiers stink. I don't know why, perhaps is has something to do with getting away from Freon. Regardless, modern Dehumidifiers I have purchased never worked well and died early after a short lifetime of bad service. This thing has been working like a dream. I'm hoping it is also durable, but time will tell

Though it can be loud, I use this to dehumidify a garage space that was turned into a Man Cave. It works great, and has not broken down or given me any problems in the roughly 2 years or so that I've owned it. If you need to keep a moderate sized space dry, then this is for you.

Had to rush and but this product and the guy was very helpful. He explained everything in detail and i was very happy to buy it. Works great in our basement.
