You need to get this for the gamecube controllers so it is required, but it's good for what it does. You can use it on your pc as well!

This sucker is REALLY hard to find but totally worth it. This lets you use 4 Gamecube controllers to play Super Smash Bros instead of using Joy Cons or Pro Controllers. The Gamecube controller is still pretty much the best way to play Super Smash Bros. If you are looking to take the game seriously you will need to play with it. The ONLY negative is that the Switch only has 2 USB ports so if you wanted to connect 8 Gamecube controllers you will not have Rumble as that is one of the USBs.
