Great for Smash!

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If the classic GameCube controller is your favorite way to play Smash Bros., then you're going to need this adapter in order to plug your GameCube controller(s) into your Nintendo Switch. It's quick and easy to set up with its USB connectors, which of course means that it can only be used in docked mode (not handheld). It's also nice to see it available in quantities that show that Nintendo properly anticipated demand (unlike the Wii U days when these were being scalped for ridiculous amounts of money!).

Works well, but occasional lag

It could be amplified because I'm using a Wavebird too.

However, I'm giving it 4 stars simply because it's required to purchase if you want to use a regular Gamecube Controller. Basically, it's more of a requirement than your own choice.
