Some steps don’t seem intuitive to accomplish a task. The ‘manual’ has been difficult to follow. I am hoping that over the next few months, the processes will become easier to follow. The price seems to be good for what it should do.

I got this watch to use to track my walks and jogs and it’s nice so far. The only issue would be the screen seems pretty cheap in person than in the provided pictures. It still works great and I recommend it for someone looking for a fitness tracker.

Lightweight and comfortable. Has all basics required for distance runners without lots of unnecessary extras. Relatively intuitive and easy to use (most of the time).

Good battery life, very good looking smart watch. Didn't realize it doesn't have a touch screen, would greatly help functionality. Instructions not the greatest. Altitude is way off, not a clue how or where to reset.

I have only used this watch for several weeks but it has more than met my expectations. It does exactly as advertised although I have only used a few of its many capabilities. The price is right, a great value.

Using strictly as a running watch so can't speak for the smart watch functions. Replaced an apple watch because I didn't want notifications while running. Strong gps and very good battery life. Charge once a week and you're good to go.

Bought this to replace an older Garmin I had til the band broke. Just wanted a simple one to track while I walk/run but has other features I like as well. It shows your total steps for the day as well as heart rate and your sleep pattern at night. There are many more things as well. Great little watch without being too expensive. Loving it so far! You can also change the watch face with several that are loaded onto it, or download other faces of your choosing. At age 72, I don't need something that takes a rocket scientist to figure out. Lol.

Couldn’t ask for a better watch for a better watch for the money. Perfect for running and daily use. Super easy to learn interface and extremely long battery life compared to my Apple Watch.

Very basic watch but more capable than you might think. Of course with the phone app you are able to train in some areas but its limited to those. It also does take a little time to find GPS signal but if will.

The Garmin ForeRunner 45 is an excellent sports watch at an affordable price, compared with other Garmin fitness models. It is a little complicated to access the modes until you download the 56 pages of instructions. I mainly use the watch for cycling to monitor my heart rate and distance. The watch pares nicely with my desk top computer to save all the information I desire. I am still not using all the functions available but will in the near future. I do recommend this watch.

So far so good. Takes a bit of education but that's not a bad thing. Cross checked some of the readings with other, medical devices and they seem really close. Nice app for tracking fitness

Bought this and found out if you have tattoos this may not work for you. The reader for the hr will not pick up through the ink. Weird I know. Also the Bluetooth is not great half the time you get a notification from your phone half the time you don’t. As far as GPS and fitness it’s fantastic I just had to switch what arm I had it on!

I have used other Garmin before. About every 5 years I replace them. This is a lot of watch for the money. Glad I went with the 45 instead of the 35. Many useful features.

My first smart(?) watch. Don’t know much about them but this one does well with time, walking miles, connecting to my iPhone and the battery lasts all day with no problem.

Needed basic features. Access to my daily steps, heart rate, gps and ability to track my progress during my run. So far happy with the purchase.

I've had the watch for about 3 weeks now. The only minor issue I have is that the face isnt too easy to read in normal lighting (great in bright sunlight and fine when the light button is pressed). But this thing has been great at providing what seems to be accurate heart rate, steps, distance info. It has really motivated me to keep pushing toward my goals!

I have been using entry level garmin products for running for many years and have always been pleased with their performance. I recently started incorporating strength training and other types of cardio into my routine and decided to try a new garmin to track these workout. So far it is a hit. It interfaces with the garmin connect app and is a very useful tool.
