Fantastic Smartwatch and Advanced Activity Tracker
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This watch is the perfect balance of smartwatch and activity tracker. The Garmin app and web ecosystem is the most robust and feature-packed of all I have tried. I get 3 days of battery life with about 1.5 hours per day of GPS time. The only thing you might miss with this is a microphone to dictate text messages. It is difficult to find a good low profile screen protector. The film protectors that just cover the center portion are the best I have tried so far. The tempered glass screen protectors are not great. They make the watch look and feel much less sleek. Any screen protector that doesn't cover the entire watch but tries to cover the curved glass surface is not worth it. It always comes off. This watch is not the same as the vivoactive 3 (non-music) just so you know. The other watch has a very different watch face and a capacitive area on the side that this music watch does not have.

Great Device for the Money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this device because my employer started a health program called Go365 and this was the device that awarded the most points for activities. I previously had an Apple Watch and the capabilities are very similar. I only gave it a 4 because I wish I could respond to notifications from the watch. The battery lasts about 3-4 days between charges depending on how much I use the music feature and how many activities I track. It connects well to my AirPods and I’ve had no issues with the Bluetooth. It’s also lighter than my Apple Watch was and I’m able to wear this watch to sleep which for some reason wasn’t comfortable with the Apple.

Awesome watch for a great price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although the manual does not tell you everything this watch can do, it is still an excellent watch without the high price. Battery life is good. Using GPS does use it up faster, but plenty of charge for a few days. Very happy with it.

Smartwatch Smart Buy!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good for short distance runs. The more apps you use the quicker the battery drains. I can us this for 5k runs with the GPS running & music no problem. (That's about an hour for me) still has about 50 - 60% battery life.

very reliable at a great price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great watch at a great price it it is what you are looking for. If you are looking for a smartwatch that you use for communication, do not get it. This is a great watch for recording activity that is done indoors and out. It has been great for me for hiking and bicycling. I have been able to get 7 days out of the battery without using the GPS, however when I do use it, it has been about 3 days depending on the time that the GPS is on. Overall it has been a great activity tracker!

Great gps watch with tons of customizable features
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great all purpose activity watch. Although I bought it for the music feature, i quickly realized i always have my phone so the feature is a bit unnecessary. Gps based tracking is spot on. Really all tracking aside from sleep tracking seems to be fairly accurate. Garmin really needs to rework their sleep tracking algorithm. It'll have me asleep for sixteen hours when I was only in bed for seven. I assume it has to do with my lower than normal heart rate (45-50bpm) so many not everyone will have that issue. Overall very happy with the watch

Works great and looks good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted a fitness tracker that looked more like a watch/ aka a smart watch. I was debating between the vívoactive 3 Music and the Garmin Fenix 5. After much debating with myself I went with the Vivoactive 3, mainly because of the weight is half that of the Fenix, which makes it much more comfortable wearing while working out. For the most part the watch is easy to use, although I had some trouble getting my music loaded. After messing with it I figured out that my music was not in one of the acceptable formats, so I had to re-rip and then load the music. I also have not figured out the golf app. Not that I need it since I have a Garmin Golf GPS unit that works well, I just thought it would be neat. After messing with it on the golf course for some time and not getting to work I gave up and just enjoyed the round. The only other thing I would mark it down on is the rubber watch band it comes with. Although its good for working out since it is flexible, it is not the best looking in the world, and somewhat of a pain putting on. Overall the watch works well and easy to use as a fitness tracker. In fact I have always questioned how well any of these devices heart monitor worked, well not long after getting the watch I had my yearly physical and when the nurse checked my heart rate, it was with in one beat of what she had. I was both surprised and impressed.

Amazing affordable option to iwatch
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the GPS and long life. Accurate and apps mirror most of what I would use with an iwatch. Cheaper option and have enjoyed it for about a year.

Great watch and durable
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this watch. It tracks a lot of information for me. The app on my phone really keeps me on track. It was pretty easy to set up too. The only flaw is the music apps- only one of the three work in the US and that would be another monthly fee. You can move your music onto the phone without a player which is nice but I wish they had Spotify available. Also, with the price tag a few month free of the music player would have been nice. But overall I am super happy with this product.

I wouldn't recommend it
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this for almost a year. The accuracy of GPS seems a little better than Fitbit in most cases. One route never seems to work right and it looks like I run across the water. The music on the watch is nice so you dont need to have a phone with you. The reason I wouldn't recommend this is because the watch has a tendency to randomly restart and reset your steps to an earlier point. I just had a 12 mile run disappear on me so I couldn't get my stats. I have had this happen on prior runs as well. Garmin doesn't give you the ability to manually add steps when these things happen. I just submitted a warranty request so I will see how their customer service is. Hopefully better than this product.

AMAZING
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been searching for a sports watch that works with Spotify. And THIS ONE DOES! The last watch I had held 2 Playlists from Deezer. That's ok. But I use Spotify so that didn't work for me! This Garmen holds up to 500 songs in memory from Spotify so if you are out for a run or at the gym you don't have to take your phone. It is the absolute best sports watch out there! Yay to go Garmen Vivoactive 3 Music Smartwatch!

Excellent watch for tracking fitness
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I mainly use this to track my walking and running and am very satisfied with the accuracy. Initially felt that loading music on to it could be a pain (as I don't have Spotify subscription) but with the amount of space for music, we can copy a lot of our library at once and not be bothered for a few months at a stretch. Also, initially felt that the customization of watch face is not that great from the watch but once I installed ConnectIQ app, a lot more additional features are now available.

Upgrade From VivoActive HR
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice unit. Wanted something with music. Overall like the unit better than the VivoActive HR which I had for 3 years without issue. Nicer and bigger display, easier to use. Battery life on this unit isn't anywhere as good as the VivoActive HR even when not using music. Mostly use for cycling and walking activities. We'll see how it works with snowboarding this winter.

Love this baby
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted something that I could run with and leave my phone at home. This does that and more. GPS works great, adding music and playlists from itunes was simple, battery life is stellar, and the golf app is an added bonus! I also love that the smartwatch is not huge. This actually looks and feels like a regular watch. My 1st Garmin, won’t be my last!

Works great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Garmin has come a long way from the first few vivoactive. Longer battery life, more accurate optical heartrate, and features. If you are expecting a optical heart rate to be just as good as chest strap you are living in a fantasy land. It works well. Their app store is good for watch faces the rest is kind useless. Bluetooth does not reach very far. Will disconnect. Overall a great fitness watch with some smartwatch features. No voice. If looking for a fitness watch get a garmin or a polar.
