This watch is so much nicer than the smaller square Garmin watches. You can download different watch faces free. I ran a Spartan beast race with the watch and it performed great. I have never owned an Apple Watch. But, I cannot see where it would be any better. It might be, but, I don’t know how. I use my watch with an Apple phone. Communication is great. No issues.

I love this watch. I use to have a Fitbit surge which was good when I got it. But this watch blows that one out of the water. This one has just about everything I would want in a fitness watch. The app is really good too. The only down side to it is I am not to confident in the screen to it. It seems like it might get scratched or broken easily. Garmin's are much better than Fitbit.

If you like how other Garmin products function, then you will probably like this one. It is easy to use, very accurate when tracking data and being able to listen to music without my phone is a nice touch. No issues paring with phone or headphones. It also works with Garmin speed and cadence sensors so it can be used for biking. I have not used it for any swimming so I can't speak to that, but for everything else it does exactly what Garmin say it will.

Very good watch for running. I love that I can squeeze 4GB of music on hear and pair my bluetooth headphones to it and not have to take my phone out on a run, So far my only issues has been having the GPS take a bit to lock on before I can set out. Other than that this watch has been great!

Overall a nice activity watch , A little confused sometimes with how to use all the features, and sometimes the widgets On the watch disappear unless I consistently sync. Connected it to my iPad so I wouldn’t have to constantly have my phone on my wrist.

Like most smartwatches, this isn't the easiest to use/set up. I'm using it with my Android phone with Spotify. Once you have everything set up the way you like, 9/10 times it works flawlessly. GPS, as far as I can tell, is VERY accurate. Plenty of space to store music for those long runs. I recommend this only to those who have the patience to set it up to their liking AND/OR to those who just want a watch with great GPS and stat tracking as well as having some sort of Bluetooth connectivity. The issues I've come across: 1) I've moved a few times while owning this, but fortunately I can tell you that music syncing with Spotify is iffy. You gotta know the interface to update the WiFi as that's how you keep the music working IF YOU USE SPOTIFY. You have to use the Garmin Connect app and the Garmin Connect IQ app. 2) Bluetooth headphones don't always sync immediately. This is usually if they're also paired to the phone and it is nearby. Otherwise, no issues. 3) Initial Setup can take a while.

So many things to use this Garmin for than I expected! I was frustrated at first but I just look it up online anytime I have a question and it’s much easier to figure out than I first thought. I rarely take this off. I just wish they had a more attractive version for those of us with smaller wrists.

The best feature about this Garmin watch is the music. Right now, I am having an issue with it not displaying my steps. This just happened recently. I have had a few issues with it not connecting with the satellites when I am starting a work out or it will take a while. Otherwise, it is a really cool watch.

This is a great watch. It does what it states it can do. The only flaw is the way it looks. It looks like it belongs on a little kid than an adult. I would have went with the other model, but, you cant load music on it. Overall, great product, not so attractive on the wrist.

This is my second Garmin watch. It is a smart watch in that you get notifications from your phone. It very lightweight and not bulky at all. Easy to put MP3s on the watch and connect to blue tooth headphones. I have an apple watch which I wear daily but didn't care for the running functionality. I wear this watch while running and the GPS sync is fairly quick sometimes less then 20 seconds. Sometimes if it's a new area and overcast it seems to take up to 60 seconds. The watch is easy to read while running. I have also used while swimming laps indoors. All you have to do is put in the length of the pool, hit start and it counts your laps. All in all I'm really happy with the watch.

It works great, i have not had any problems with it like I do my Samsung Gear. Golf app works well and the music plays nicely. So far the battery has lasted a round of golf and 2 hours in gym playing music with still plenty of charge. Don't regret this purchase like I do my Samsung gear.

GPS is accurate. The fit is great and it’s lightweight. Heart rate has been pretty accurate. I am still though struggling to get music on the watch. Going to give it a few more attempts. Could be a user error. I have taken it to the geek squad with no resolution

I bought this watch for my husband and he really enjoys it. It is a great watch for someone who works out and is active. He wanted something he could wear in the water, run and not need a phone to track his progress and listen to music, and to wear to the gym and use for work outs. This watch meets those requirements

It's been almost a year. Helped keep me on track to lose weight & move more! I have slighty larger wrists, so I like the circle clockface...& looks less "sporty" with watchbands you can order off Amazon. PS- Battery Life us INSANE! Lasts me about 4-5 days!

Works very well a d not only plays music but gives much more info than previous watches. Only concern is it counts rides up elevators as steps. Must use them at work because no steps except in emergency exits which sets off alarms.

So I changed from Fitbit to Garmin a while back (it never synched with my Hotmail account). My wife who was a diehard Fitbit fan got this as a gift from me........ she is on the Garmin Team now. She loves her watch. She loves the GPS and track my route feature. I may upgrade to this model soon; it looks very cool.
