My son wanted a Garmin Vivofit Jr, so of course my younger daughter insisted on having one too. To be honest, we were hesitant that it would be useful for her at 5-years-old. Man were we wrong! She absolutely loves being able to tell the time and seeing how many steps she's taking every day.

Overall, a nice activity tracker for kids. It is a little small for bigger kids, but it has some nice features. I like the ability set up chores and responsibilities in addition to activity goals. My son enjoys the tracker and app.

My son loves this activity tracker. There is an associated app for both the parent and the child to set up and monitor chores/activities. It is intuitive enough that my 10 year old son set up 4 alarms before I had a chance to download the parent app.

My 8 year old wanted a smart watch for Christmas and after researching the options we chose the Garmin Vivofit Jr. 2. He is so happy with it. Right now he only knows how to tell time and track his steps but this weekend we will spend more time trying to figure out all of the watch's features.

My daughter turned 6, and this was the perfect gift for her! She loves keeping track of her steps, and checking the time wherever we go :) She does wish she had the purple version, too, but is ecstatic to have the blue one!

My son loves it. Unfortunately this is our second one since first one broke. First one ran out of batttery and when I changed the battery I didn’t install the very thin rubber seal correctly. Love the band color. He loves using the timer function

Actual fit bit appears well made. It comes with battery that lasts up to a year so it is not charged with USB cable. App can be used to track sleep. It appears to be pretty accurate and tells you how many hours you slept and even when you went into deep sleep.

Kids were asking for a watch and this proved to be the winning ticket. Not only did they get the watch function they wanted but it also inspired them to be active. The various extras brought out there competitiveness to be active so it is a win-win for us parents.

The Garmin - vívofit jr. 2 Activity Tracker for Kids - Light Side is a fantastic activity tracker for kids. I bought it for my 6 year old son as a birthday gift. He wears it day and night and is so proud of it. Very durable, easy to use, highly recommended!

For a 6 year old, this was still too big. Had to use the last slot on the band and it was still a little loose. The display is also very dim and hard to see. My biggest gripe is that there is no way to charge the device. Without any charging port or charging cable, we saw on the box that the device battery life is rated at one to one and a half years. After that, I presume that your device is done and needs replacing. Find another product.

The device used a consumer replaceable battery. Please go to support.garmin.com where you'll find a FAQ on how to change the battery on the watch.

My 7 year old saved his Christmas and Birthday money to buy this. He loves it. He wants to get more steps than his parents daily. He loves making sure he does his chores to get more coins. Its a great motivation tool for young kids.

Purchased for my daughter's birthday. Age 7, fits her well. She loves being able to see her step progress for the day and know what time it is. Syncs to smart phone. Has many options we don't use such as keeping track of chores and such. She loves just the same.

Made a great birthday gift, this is the second one I got for my 8 year old. Previously got the Star Wars edition for my 6 year old. Great tracking and reminders to brush teeth and get ready for school in the morning. Good product and software from Garmin

My 4 year old loves her Frozen Princess watch. She really likes being able to see her name so that she can spell it on paper. My only recommendation would be for the screen to be a bit brighter.

This watch is a great way to motivate my 4 year old son to do chores and check his activity. The battery lasts for a year, so he doesn't need to plug it in at night and the ap on my phone (to manage chores etc.) is very easy to use!

Good product for the money, the 2 year geek squad protection makes the cost worth it in case the screen breaks or watch band snaps in the covered time period.

My son loved this watch for many years. He wore it constantly, and it lived up to all the tough tests an elementary kid could throw at it for years (over 2 now). Unfortunately, it got lost recently because it fell out of the band. I would recommend changing the band every once in a while (maybe yearly) for a nice firm fit. But, we were so pleased with it that the younger brother just got one too. The battery does really last a year+ and it is incredibly durable.
