Purchased this for my 9 year old. She loves it. She loves seeing her steps throughout the day and loves that she can collect coins for getting her chores done and that she can redeem the coins towards a reward that we agree upon. It's simple. Doesn't need to be charged at all. I love that the band is adjustable and lightweight. It feels like it's not even on your wrist. I have the garmin vivofit 3 and my band is the same material. Absolutely love that its water proof too!

Basic activity tracker nothing fancy but tells her the time and her steps with a really cute design. My daughter loves it.

This is great for a kid. No charging and waterproof make it a great combination. Just low on features.

Got this for my daughter’s 10th birthday. She checks her step count all the time. Has a lot of fun features, timer/calendar etc. she is excited about the rewards she gets for completing her chores.

Son loves it. I had a hard time reading the small screen. Easy to connect to the tablet to program.

My son absolutely loves this watch. He enjoys looking at the amount of steps he does as well as the coins he earns from doing the chores we can set on the app. There are even rewards he can use with his coins after earning a certain amounts set by parents. Very fun for kids as it has a game within the app. Tracks his sleep better than our own smartwatches! My son loves it so much he never wants to take it off! Highly recommend.

My lil boy wanted one of these so we tried it. He loves it and it really has made him want to get more steps even though that wasn’t our purpose. He is a small 5yr old and it fits him great.

I purchased this for my grandson. He had requested it for a gift. He is very pleased so far with the watch. I cannot comment on the features as I am not the one doing the programming.

My daughter loves it, it was her favorite Christmas gift it even trumped the trampoline. My only wish is that it had a brighter led screen. I can hardly see the numbers on the watch.

This device is awesome. It really keeps our child motivated and interested in daily activity. Would purchase again in a heartbeat. Too bad we paid full price, but it was worth it.

I bought two, for the grandkids aged seven and five. They like them, but I only rated them a 4 because I haven't seen them in use. They would probably give them a 5. Rated quality a 3 because I don't know; value a 5 because they were a good price to buy as gifts; ease of use a 5 because these very young kids have no trouble using them.

This will be a Christmas gift. I like the durability of Garmin products and hope this will be no exception. From the reviews I have seen, this should work nicely.

The kids love these! Easy to stay excited about exercise. The Captain America shield is not as obviously commercial as the Star Wars version.

I like that you don't have to charge it. It says the battery will last about a year. The display isn't great. I got it for an eleven year old. The app is a bit babyish but she still likes it. It has helped encourage her to be more active. I also like that I can give her chores to do and she can track those and get points for completing them.

Kids love this new version of Vivofit JR. They already have a previous version of vivofit jr and this one is colorful upgrade for them.

Another nice to have but non essential part of modern techno infused life... it works and does what it is advertised that it does...

My son loves his Garmin Vivo Fit Jr. He can now track his steps with mom :) And he gets excited when he reaches over 10,000, which for him isn't a difficult task. He now tries to compete with me on how many steps we each have had that day. The Garmin connects with his Ipod and the app even provides games to get him excited about moving.
