Loved this series when it first aired on ABC. It was new and different with a sinfully wicked edge. It was the perfect guilty pleasure replacement to Desperate Housewives when it ended. The characters are relate able even though they are a bit over the top. The musical numbers are outstanding. Every girl could relate to the mean girl from high school getting her comeuppance. Love it!!!

GCB is based in Dallas where I was raised. The show really exemplifies the society and eccentricities of Texans I know and love. Not just the rich act this way. The actors are excellent and several are genuine southerners as well. I miss my Texas home and this series takes me home again.

I loved this show when it appeared on abc and been wanting to watch it again. I was so happy to see that I could purchase it and at a great price as well

I loved the TV Show so, I was glad to get the entire season on DVD.

I am always reluctant to watch new TV shows (especially on ABC--the "Always Be Canceling" network) When I seen the amazing cast list for this show I knew that I had to give it a shot. After watching the first 15 minutes of the pilot I was HOOKED! I was sure that this would be the replacement for Desperate Housewives. The show was great right out of the chute (Texas rodeo pun intended) and it only got better. I figured that by the time it hit season two that it would be a perfectly polished gem that would appease all of us angry Desperate Housewives fans who will be missing our Sunday evenings with those funny, dramatic, full of trouble ladies. GCB seemed to be a perfect fit! When I heard that ABC had canceled it I was devastated! But at least I can relive that short first season over and over again with this DVD! ABC has definitely stabbed me in the back for the last time...no more new ABC shows for me, I will just watch my copy of GCB every Sunday until Fox, CBS, or NBC comes up with a good alternative.

The last time I had watched a TV show or cared about one was back in 2008 Pushing Daisies right before it got canned. It was an off the wall sow with alot of heart after that I felt no need to watch anything if I watched I bought it on DVD when it came out. This show I had just heard a few things about it Kristin Chenoweth was in it and an amazing woman named Annie Potts (The Whole Cast Is Phenomenal) I wasn't expecting much but when I tuned in March 4th of 2012 I was blown away I laughed until i cried. I made sure from that day forward to never miss an episode and I didn't I loved the 2 Easter episodes I think I laughed off the 5lbs I put on eating that day. This show has alot of laughs and heart it has nothing to do with making fun of Christians just showing that they are human and sometimes they can be not such angels either. GCB was a show I looked forward to watching every week and it's sad to think that we might nor see another episode. The cast was just amazing. Ever single person on this show irreplaceable. These people were made for these roles. My favorite character is Cricket. She is an independent woman with a lot of sass and attitude. Plus this show also has the wonderful Annie Potts. How do you cancel a show with such an incredible actress? The writing on this show was witty and fun and was enhanced by the flawless delivery and comedic timing of the cast. ABC should really listen to the fans of this show and bring it back. We've worked so hard and we will continue to do so until this show is back. I love GCB, it was the best new show of the entire season!!! I knew that I was gonna love it from all the previews leading up to the pilot episode and after watching the pilot I was hooked. I was shocked that it was cancelled as were a lot of people. Even if you never got to watch it while it was aired I highly recommend that you get the DVD and watch it, GCB is so funny and we all know someone like the people represented!! Please don't judge this show by the title, it's not sac-religious, it doesn't make fun of Christians and it's just so darn entertaining. Give it a chance you will love it and fall in love with the cast, it's one of the best cast shows that I've ever seen!!!!

I looked forward to Sunday nights when this show was on ABC network. Kristin Chenoweth was just as good as when she was in Pushing Daisies. It is one of the few shows that was actually pretty clean compared to other programs now a days. I hope ABC reconsiders and brings it back. It was a fun show to watch and relax. This is such a good show! This is the first show I've enjoyed in a long time. I was so tired of all the crime shows. It's a breath of fresh air to watch GCB. Sassy, funny, & a little drama - just the right combination. I hope the network will decide to keep running it. I'm sincerely going to miss seeing what happens esp with Amanda and Pastor Tudor!!

ABC!!??? Bring GCB back!!!!!! GCB is an awesome show! It's entertaining, witty and playful. Wise up ABC, you repeatedly renew drivel like The Bachelor/Bachelorette but toss a great show. Seriously, it's a great break from "reality" TV and I really needed this laugh before Monday morning!!

This show is beyond amazing, casting was right on the mark and is a great mix of comedy and drama. This show is more addictive and juicy compared to Desperate Housewives. A total must have in any collection.
