GE 24" tall tub dishwasher

It has all the features of the old one plus several more, including a 3rd rack for utensils, a sanitize wash setting and choices of using upper level, lower level or both levels washing which will save time and costs. The interior is stainless steel and not plastic. It does a pre-wash of the dishes and a grinder for any remaining food. We have been impressed with this dishwasher so far and recommend it.

One thing I wish is that It would have a "short wash cycle" like my old GE did.... the least amount of time you can put it on (even for small washes), is 113 min!! ... a bit of an overkill and highly unnecessary waste of water! Also the 3rd rack on top is a bit of a waste... too small and short to put anything other than covers.

Great choice for reasonable price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although the cleaning cycle is long, it's not typical that I'm dying for something that I put in the dishwasher and if I was, then I'd handwash it and call it a day. I didn't know if I'd find the 3rd shelf useful but I really like it. Especially with young kids, putting knives and other sharp objects in a shelf that is almost hidden is really useful. I'd certainly recommend.
