Customers are pleased with the product's overall performance, excellent capacity, and appealing design, including its nice size, beautiful color, and fingerprint-resistant finish. They also appreciate the good lighting. However, some customers have noted that the water dispenser is slow and the noise level is on the high side, with a few concerns about temperature control.

We have had fridge for a little over a week and so far its been really good. The lighting is great, fits a full pizza box which is a huge plus and looks really nice. The only con is that the left door with the ice maker is a little bulky and tough to get around sometimes.

Would have given 5 stars but have few issues, the wrapping that frig arrived in was glued in the seals of doors . almost impossible to get all pieces out. also the water dispenser has drip, but since best buy is replacing that door due to scratches hopefully the issue will corrected. NOTE: the frig is rather loud

Replaced an older GE side by side love the extra space. yes because it does more and works the dual cooling the motor is a little bit louder but livable. Most new refrigerators are louder than the older ones because they are using different refrigerants to comply with new environmental rules.

Love the bottom freezer. Love the fast chill option on the fridge and freezer. Sometimes the ice sticks together in the compartment but if you shake the holder it drops down. Not a lot of options for adjusting the shelves, at least with the bulk size items I use. I had to remove a shelf on one side to get my stuff to fit. Very well lit even in the freezer. Love the big fridge drawer, the sliding divider helps it to be more useful. I use one side for lunchmeat the other for cans of pop.

I love the space! You can put so much inside. The bottom freezer holds an unbelievable amount of food and is easily accessible.
Con: the crushed ice dispenser spreads shards of ice all over.

I am pleased with the refrigerator itself, however, the outside ice and water dispensors are a disappointment. The crushed ice is mostly big chunks and messy and the water comes out so slow I can't stand to even use it. If I had to do over would get same frig without this option and save money and mess.

We had our last GE Profile for 25 years, and it was a great unit. Right to the end it cooled very well. This one - well, it doesn't. Set to 34 degrees it barely gets under 40, so we keep the milk in the $400 Kenmore out in the garage, which chills it beautifully. The new GE has pretty LED's and stainless steel but fails in its primary purpose, keeping the food cold. Geek Squad has been out multiple times, replacing the thermistor and main board. They told me the last time that temperature was "well inside the acceptable range." I'm pretty sure they just want to be done with me, but this thing is a dud and needs to be fixed or replaced.
Whoever designed the icemaker in the door needs to be fired. Every time we go to use it, it jams. We have to open it up, break loose the ice, and get ice directly from the bin while we're in there. We installed the 2nd icemaker in the freezer just to avoid having to use the door ice bin. It's awful.
I can't recommend this refrigerator. There are much better ones for far less money. Stay simple and get a unit that can keep food cold.

I love this fridge. It’s beautiful and matches our cabinets.
We replaced a Samsung that the ice maker kept freezing over.
I understand where people say it is loud. But I think that is because more and more homes have open concept so the kitchen and living room are together. Otherwise you would never notice

I have only had the refrigerator for a few days but so far everything is working good. The installation was easy. The refrigerator is very quiet. There is a little noise when the turbo chill comes on but it’s not annoying. I love the slate color, it doesn’t show fingerprints like the stainless steel does.

Everything about this fridge is good except the icemaker. The icemaker regularly stops making ice because of a stuck chip in the arm or ice gets stuck dispensing. Each time I have to open up the compartment and remove the offending ice to continue operation. Otherwise it's a great fridge.

It's pretty and I like having the extra room. The fridge is a little more noisy than we expect, but I'd still buy it again.

My husband and I recently ordered this refrigerator online. We could pick the delivery date (less than a week out) and we had to have the Slate color, to match our other appliances. We wanted this bigger size and are very happy with it. Since it is so big, it took longer for the inside to cool down but, it is now nice and cold.
We had another GE that was a lot smaller. We redid our kitchen and made the area for a frig big enough for this. The inside is much nicer and better built than the small version. It is also much quieter. We love it.

Would have given 5 stars but as the reviews say it is a noisy refrigerator. Don't mind the ice maker since it is in the door - I'd expect that to be loud but the compressor/fan are quite loud. Other than that it is a great piece, and love the slate color
