When you press on one side, the other side lifted up. The worst thing was the difficulty I had with Best Buy in replacing and installing a new one. They really gave me the runaround Still waiting for the replacement to be installed. Very disappointed.

They came in and set up, and before I could go back to check on their progress, they were done. The unit works great and my mom is very happy.

The cooktop comes with three wires (rather than 4-wires as other brands): red, black and ground (old standard). But the power supply in my kitchen has 4-wires: red, black, white and ground (new standard). The installation instruction has no any useful information on how to connect the 3-wire (old standard) cooktop to a 4-wire power supply (new standard). Called customer service, a guy told me to check the local building code ! Made a live chat with another guy, and was told he cannot help me and asked me to hire a local electrician! A terrible experience with this purchase!

I was cooking something on the big front burner on 8 then put it on the back burner (same setting and food burnt). There is nothing good I can say about this at all.

If the burners are not heating evenly, we recommend disconnecting power to the cooktop via the main power supply for a few minutes so as to reset the controls.
