During our kitchen remodel, we spent lots of time checking reviews for several kitchen appliances, and visiting stores to visually check them. The result was that we found this cooktop to be solidly built and pleasing to the eye, while being less expensive than other high-end units. Although, function is the primary target, you also want the unit to look good. There are several features that I really like. The first is that you can lock the controls so that the burners can't be turned on accidentally, especially by children. A second feature is that when a burner is on, there is a light under the corresponding knob. I find this especially helpful when you have the setting on low, and can barely detect the flame. There is also a "PowerBoil" setting (on the center burner) for speeding up the boiling of liquids. Note, the manual does remind you to not us pots smaller then 12" in diameter, and never let flames extend up the sides of cookware. This specific model did come with a griddle. You may see similar items sold elsewhere that do not.

This is a great cooktop. The center burner is great for big pots and boiling seafood. It has a sleek style and the blue LED lights that alert you when a burner is on is a great feature considering small children with curious fingers. Overall a great product!! Well worth the money.

Cooktop is average, reason is that the burners are placed way far from the flame. Except the middle burner rest all burners are not good.
