This is my second Geeni smart surge protector & I am still happy with their products, The cord id long enough for my wife to be able to use to charge her phone in bed. For whatever reason (maybe because I was further away from my router), the set was not as easy as before. But, that could also have been user error. Overall, a good product at a good price. And the app is easy to use.

I don't know if the specifications are not detailed or if I misread them. I want a basic surge protector. This one is operated by a smart phone app. I am returning it. Depending on your needs, it may be right for you, or it may not.

Wish it did not need a wifi connection just to work. You will need the application to control it through a phone/tablet.

I purchased it specifically for the Christmas tree and it's lights. I set up the timer on it and it automatically turns ON and OFF. It was a great purchase.
