A little less performance than I had hoped for

When I upgraded to the Gigabyte rtx 4070ti I expected a little more of a performance increase especially since it is a much more powerful GPU and a better match to the capabilities of my CPU. Unfortunately that increase was a little less than I expected. It is stable, quiet, good performance.

However I experienced periodic black screens and returned the card... every time is happens makes you feel like your computer just crashed... Gets old real fast..!
