Great performance. Quiet small factor card. Does what you need it to do at 4k.

Only worth it if you’re getting it at MSRP or upgrading it from a very old card. It’s not too loud and it can get a little warm. However, it handles all the workload and gaming just fine. PS. Probably should just went with AMD because Nvidia is just greedy.

This "small form factor" card is still comically large - but this does mean that it doesn't perform any worse than other 5080s at least. Knocking off one star because there is noticeable coil whine.

Simply an awesome card. Somehow beat the bot scalpers and scored this during the second(?) 50 series drop on 2/12. Installed it two days later and it's performing like a beast. Hasn't gone over 61C yet playing at 1440p high settings 240hz. Might have to look at getting a 4k monitor for this pup, sheesh. Best Buy did me right for the 30 series and now the 50 series. Will always spend my hard earned, Nvidia-focused dollars here, even if I have to fight some scalpers. A couple things I've noticed, good and bad: -minimal, if any, coil whine -uses much less power than my 30 series with much, much higher performance. I was at 144hz but now at 240hz and the difference between this and my 3080 is stark. -not noticeably "loud" to me until 80%+ fan speeds and even then it's not as bad as I've experienced in the past with other cards. 3080 FE is a jet engine lol. -my card did NOT come with a cover for the little capacitor rectangle on the top of the card. In the listing's picture, it's shown as having some sort of a black cover. This did not exist on the card I received and I could not find anything in the box that would lead me to believe I had to install it myself. Odd. -probably isn't worth $1,270 but thanks, tariffs. This, I believe, was originally an msrp card (999.99). That would've been right on. Shame. -not even a plain white light up logo on the front like the founder's edition cards. Sad that a card this pricey doesn't have even that. Not even RGB, just a little plain white LED. Oh well. I don't really care about RBG, but it definitely tends to give products a bit more of a premium feel, especially that founder's-style white LED. Sexy. Overall, I've enjoyed the first 10 hours with it and I'm sure you will too. Good card and would recommend! Hope you guys reading this and waiting on discord servers for stock alert pings can get one! <3

Runs cool and overclocks really well. Only downside is it had zero lighting effects. Not even the gigabyte label is lit up.

Great card, Overpriced. Worthwhile upgrade from my 3080

Picked it up on the exact estimated date and it works like a beauty. Upgraded from GTX1660 so you know how i feel its just perfect for 1440p and 4k gaming.

Gigabyte has decided that a 57Mhz "overclock" should warrant a 27% upcharge in price. For reference this card is capable of running a close to 500Mhz overclock however gigabyte has intentionally only applied a tiny 57Mhz overclock to it so that they can sell "better" models that come stock with a higher overclock at even higher prices. I have already overclocked my card and it runs fine but for $270 over MSRP this should be done for me. For reference a 500Mhz overclock nets me around 10 extra fps in games so their 53Mhz overclock will probably get you around 1 extra fps. This card is charging you $270 for 1 extra fps.... TLDR: 27% upcharge for a 2% increase in performance. What a joke.
