This item was purchased for our 15 year old granddaughter as a gift. She had no problem setting it up and says it works fine.

Awesome and cheap way to "smartify" old speakers. Too bad this isn't sold anymore.

Chromecast Audio is a great new device which helps me in playing music from my iphone and talk or make calls at the same time. No pausing the music....

I brought this item because it has good ratings and I have Chromecast tv and Google Home. It fell right in place.

The Chromecast audio works well as long as it can see the wireless router. I purchased 2 one for my outdoor patio speakers and one for speakers in our kitchen. The one on the patio loses the stream at least once an hour. It has two walls between itself and the router. The one located in the kitchen is 15 ft further away but has a clear path to the router. Product works well but make sure your internet signal is strong to avoid the disconnections.

Such a cool gadget. Makes old soeakers "smart,". Installed in 2 old systems, and has been a great asset.

Product is simplistic in design, but had a hard time setting it up. Had to reboot the router and walk through a few steps with Google support.

Works very well with streaming chromecast enabled streaming services. Can stream itunes, but have to use backdoor options.
