Easy way for me to stream music to my older stereo system (5+ years old) that doesn't have bluetooth.

I bought this to power my dumb spkeaers with unlimited wireless music. Working well so far. No complaints

If you have any speaker with an aux input, especially surround sound; but this!

Bought this so I can add other speakers work together to play audio. It works great!

Not sure how this is better than bluetooth. Its possibly better quality sound only.

The Chromecast Audio is awesome. When I bought it, I didnt know that it had optical digital output. Nice.

So, here is the deal, if you were to use this at home and literally never move it, never lose internet connection, and use it 24 hours a day then you would be golden. Otherwise, your sunk. I returned it because I couldn’t do anything with it accept have it in one location. I needed it to move around with a Bluetooth speaker and it just doesn’t work that way.

Turns any speaker into a smart speaker. You can use several around the house to listen to same song.

I like it, but I can't think of many times when my regular Chromecast would not have been more useful, even for JUST audio. Only reason to get this is if you don't have a TV to connect to, for such instances I personally just use Bluetooth. Not sure why anyone else would prefer Chromecast Audio over Bluetooth, unless their speaker was not Bluetooth capable, then I would recommend this device.

This is a great way to stream music to existing audio equipment. Simple setup and it works great!

Really love this one, not sure why google discontinued.

Once it is set up, it works well. Google Home makes setting up a group of speakers a simple task.

My Dad loves it ! He said that it works great and works better than he thought it would.

I used three of these to patch together a group of speakers. When working, it's awesome. I set the speakers up all over the house and we can hear the music anywhere. I don't know if it's the Chromecast, the Google Home app or what, so I'll give 3 stars instead of 2 for that reason. I'll gladly raise my rating if I can find that the problem is with something else and not the Chromecasts.

I love being able to send music to my audio receiver via Google Home, Tablet, phone or computer.

I bought this to cast my Google Home music to my stereo. It was easy to install and works great.

My initial thought was awesome. Then as I use it my thoughts diminished. Not much. It is nice.
