The Google - Chromecast Audio device works wonderfully and is very easy to setup. You can update an old stereo system to work with your web audio content via the Google - Chromecast Audio and make it a seamless transition.

The chromecast audio system is a great way to build a budget multi-room audio system. I currently have two set up in my apartment, each set up with an independent audio system. Set up is relatively easy, and runs great off the wifi.

Great easy to setup device, easy to stream music especially if you own an iOS device, compact enough to sit on top or behind your receiver. Great for older receivers that do not support Airplay.

I love this Google Chrome cast Audio. I bought three of these and they work perfectly. I now have music through out my house.

As my receiver is a few years old at this point the only way I could stream audio to my receiver was through Apple airplay. My receiver only had a wired internet connection. By attaching this to my receiver I am now able to stream almost anything I have desired from my Android phone but by using the headphone to audio component my receiver is able to output this in Zone 2 allowing me to stream this to all of my speakers. (My receiver does not have the ability to convert digital audio to analog audio for use with Zone 2 normally.) Will be purchasing more to test out the multi-room features.

We have two soundbars now and can connect to each of them individually or together and play music on the main level or basement. Works great!

Great for streaming music to speakers that doesn't have the feature.

First off, the name is misleading. I bought this device to do one thing, to allow me to listen to the music on my phone through my home stereo. Turns out I would have been better off with a bluetooth receiver, because chromecast audio does not allow you to cast music to it. Sure, it streams music from apps like Pandora and Spotify but I don't need a chromecast for that. My phone can already do that.

Google Chromecast Audio, easy to setup. Sounds great, setup on my Android Galaxy Note works great, haven't tried on iPhone yet.

Excellent for streaming digital audio content to headphones, AV, HiFi systems. I "wired" my home with Chromecast Audio at $30 a room. I used existing AV or HiFi systems. I keep one Chromecast Audio and a USB power brick as a "roaming" headphone amp for private listening. Chromecast Audio has more power, volume, and dynamic range than your average smartphone.

Chromecast audio allows you to group multiple chromecast audio devices together to stream your audio simultaneously to multiple speakers. However it has noticeable delay. It makes it virtually unusable for watching TV/movies with chromecast audio. However as the product name suggests, it works perfectly if you are just streaming music only. There is one more downside, iOS support has yet to come. You also need the latest android builds to enjoy group casting to your chromecast audio devices.

Works as described and easy to set up. No more cutting out like I had with a bluetooth connection.

If you intended to play music that is ACTUALLY on your phone, then this device is NOT FOR YOU. It will only play music through a streaming app. I have 50 GB of music on my phone. This device allows me to access NONE of it. I don't need it. I can already hook my phone up to my speaker... through the headphone jack on my phone and the same wire provided. Its going back to BestBuy.

I have an older surround sound system that does not have bluetoothe capability so I was going to buy a plug in bluetoothe adapter. When the Chromecast Audio device went on sale, I thought that it might be better yet. IT WAS. I can play my music or streaming music like Pandora. A great $30.00 purchase...
