I bought Chromecast audio to connect my Google Home to my stereo. Very easy to do just follow intructions.

I didn't have any issues with the Google Chrome Audio and it worked great with my pre-existing wireless speakers in aux mode.

Works flawlessly with home stereo. I use this product primarily with Google home and my phone. Easy setup.

Works very well for price. Can’t get hard-wired devices to play through it though, only phone and tablets

Honestly i really like this thing, simple to use and easy to figure out. Plug and play at its most basic.

Plug it in to your speakers/system. Download and open the app. Follow the instructions to setup. Sound is really good.

I'd been looking for a cheap way to stream Android phone audio to my 3 stereo systems throughout the house. Bought one to try it out, was happy and bought 2 more. For primary system I use the optical output of 1 of them, for the 2 other I use a headphone to RCA cable. The optical may(?) sound better but I haven't A/B-ed them. The optical cable is NOT included and it's unique so got from Google for $15. RCA cables not included either, but they're generic. Works great, delivers good sound throughout house. Phone needed reboot after installation but that's not a big deal! I don't have any Apple gear, so can't comment on that, Android only (Samsung S7 phone). Casting sound from Chrome browser didn't work as well on my 6 year old Windows 7 laptop but with the phone it works almost flawlessly. It basically takes whatever would be coming out of your source device's headphone jack and re-routes to the Chromecast "puck(s)" via wi-fi (NOT Bluetooth) so range is good. I love it !

Bought it for a gift and they were very happy to have received it. They are currently enjoying using it and remarked it was easy to use.

Connected to the receiver and had music within minutes. Very easy to use and makes my old receiver a smart receiver.

I bought this as a present for my girlfriend and after a couple days I had to keep it, it's amazingly easy to use.

I have an iPhone and if you use the Allcast App you can stream your iTunes library. You lose some functionality such as shuffle. The connection is quick and is extremely easy to use. I would recommend this as a good alternative and cheap option compared to Sonos or buying a receiver that already has Airplay.

Mainly use it to stream Spotify music to amplifier, beats the bluetooth dongle in music quality & signal strenth. Good value for $35.

I love this. I love this so much, I bought two more. I loved those two so much, I bought the video cast device as well. My audio cast devices are connected to three JBL Charge devices I have (Multiple generations); my home theatre system; and a pair of bookcase speakers that I have an old amp connected to. I figured out how to use one chromecast device to stream to multiple jbl charges at the same time - further increasing the usefulness in my mind. I love sonos - i own one play 3 that was given as a gift but its just so expensive and this is great especially if you already have the speakers on hand. I am always ready about the latest cord cutting trends, devices, tech, and strategies and these are an integral part of anyone's connected home. Easy to set up, easy to use, zero complaints. Get them and be happy.

Wasn't sure about Chromecast audio, but the concept makes sense. Much easier than dealing with wires, etc...Setup was really easy and the chromecast app makes it really easy to send anything on your phone to the device, so you don't have to be concerned about the app being compatible, which was my only question. Really great, will recommend to anyone who wants to stream music from their phone or computer to a much nicer audio setup without having to connect directly.

Google Chromecast audio supports multi-room audio cast and is great and cheap substitute for systems like Sonos

I bought 3 of the Chrome Cast Audio and they are very good products. I stream the same songs to my older receivers, that don't have wifi capabilities but are top quality receivers, all at the same time. The sound quality is pretty good. Not as good as CD quality for sure, but pretty good. The only problem is that the product is supposed to allow one to select a feature that give one a higher quality sound than the factory setting. 2 of the Chrome Cast Audio allows me to choose that higher setting but adding the 3rd Chrome Cast Audio device will not display that option to choose a higher quality sound on the third. So I have 2 Chrome cast Audio devices that displays that option and 1 that does not display that option. I returned the Chrome Cast Audio device that did not display that option for a new one and the new one did the same thing. It did not display the option for higher quality sound. I talked with the Chrome Cast Audio tech and the stated my complaint has been escalated. I always like to know if I'm getting the best quality sound from my product so I hope they weed the problem out. But overall it is a SOUND product.
