Hooked the Chromecast audio to an older stereo to play Pandora. Works great.

I use 3 android phones to stream music(usually pandora +). I wanted to have same music playing in sync with the phones, chromecast tv and the new chromecast audio units. 3 weeks,5 tech support requests. No responses. It wont talk to everyone to create a single large group. Going back

This is the second cc audio I've purchased. Easy to set up and when used with the Google Home app it is very easy to create a home audio network. Topping it off, I got it on sale from the already low price!

Used this with a Samsung Sound bar to create a home network of music. Very easy to setup and music doesn't delay with other speakers in the house. I have a Video Chromecast as well and they both integrated nicely.

The first thing that I can say is that the audio quality is good. Having several of these has allowed me to get "the same" music all through my home without having to pay $1000s of dollars (Think Sonos, Bose, Heos). I've been able to use my existing speakers in different rooms. It is nice to control music via wifi so that phone calls etc don't interrupt the music. The thing I don't like about it is that you can't use JUST ANY music app. I love my PowerAmp App on Android. However, I had to upload my entire MP3 collection (over 3000) to Google Music just to have access to it via Chromecast Audio!!! You have to use apps that support chromecast audio. I wish it had a blue tooth option to pipe music throughout the house.

This is my second purchase of the google chrome case audio. If you pair these right you can use 2 for every 4 speakers (speakers that offer sync between each other like the JBL flip 4, or the bose soundlink revolve) I love the fact that i can cast audio to each room in my house and have no distortion from one room to the next. I currently have 2 jbl flip 4 speakers, and in the app i set them to party mode, i then connect the chrome cast audio to one speaker and use my phone or google home to play music (you can connect up to 100 jbl speakers to each other in party mode, but i do not have this configuration, and possibly just have one chrome cast audio, pretty cool!)

It is a very good product to turn non wifi speakers into wifi speakers!

The chromecast audio is great! I have a sound bar with bluetooth built in but it would always drop out while streaming music to it. I got a chromecast audio, hooked it up with the included cable, and now music streams flawlessly. It also doesn't kill my phone's battery because the chromecast audio is doing all the heavy lifting.

Great way to play your music where ever you want. Great for dorm room.
