Does exactly what it says its supposed to. Hard to knock it when it works as advertised. Wish it was a little fancier, would be nice to have a blue tooth ability, but hey cant complain too much for the price.

Really impressed with how easy this was to setup with my iPhone. I've got mine plugged into a soundbar that I have hidden on top of my upper kitchen cabinets and leave it on all the time. I drilled a hole in the cabinet above the microwave for power. Its pretty rock solid, been using it for 4-5 months now and only have had to reboot it once and you can easily do it through the app on your phone. It came right back up after it rebooted and was ready to use again.

Does exactly what's said and even got a 10 dollar gift card with purchase. Have owned product for a month now and still loving it. Wish it supported playing music directly from your already downloaded music library on Apple devices

I love my Chromecast Audio streamer! I own a Chromecast video streamer, which required me to use my TV to stream music through my audio visual receiver. I could not stream music directly from my mobile phone or tablet music apps directly to my receiver before. Now I have this capability, and I love it. I bought this device when I heard Google discontinued them.

This product works well. Before I was using a video Chromecast to stream music, but had to have my tv on the whole time. Now I can play music anywhere without concern for the limitations of Bluetooth.

I purchased this so I could listen to music / FLAC files stored on my WD MyCloud through my stereo receiver. The Chromecast is in my garage about 25' away from my computer which is located in my house. The chromecast works great and the sound is fantastic, even though I'm using a cheap receiver and rummage sale speakers in my garage. I'm planning on buying another for my stereo receiver in the basement. Great way to bring digital sound to and old stereo system.

I have Logitech computer speakers with a subwoofer and wanted to be able to use them to play music with my Google Home even when the computer isn't up and running. This works great! It shows up as another device in my Google Home app and I can play Spotify using my Google Home to all my speakers at once, greatly improving the sound. Definitely recommend if you want to add smart speaker functionality to a "dumb" speaker.

This is great for my outdoor speakers, because the way they're set up, they can only connect to one specific RCA stereo input on my amp. I wanted to be able to stream any music service on the outdoor speakers, and as it was, I could only use Pandora on my Xfinity box, since that's what was connected. Now, with the Chromecast Audio connected to that, I can cast any music service and play it outdoors when entertaining!

The Chromecast Audio is truly amazing. Just "plug and play" Not much to say about it because it becomes invisible, just the music from my phone is the important part. Just get it and have fun.

Post-recent update, it's been working wonderfully. No more dropouts/disconnects and the connection lag time is not really there anymore. Easy to link up to an integrated assistant ecosystem and say something like 'hey google, play _____ on living room speakers' and boom! These things go on sale every so often to $25; completely worth it at that price. Easy way to turn old speakers into smart ones with amazing sound quality!

I was looking for an easy to use in home and out door streaming device that my parents can use. I have not gotten my dad to use it yet but my mom love's it. It was easy to setup. I have one in the kitchen and the other is on an outdoor water resistant speaker. I set up a group between the two devices and they play perfectly in sinc. I may get another one or two for the gradge and living room but right now im looking for a speaker with it built in.

Works well with Spotify but limited in that it doesn’t support airplay. If you want to upgrade your existing speakers for whole house audio with Spotify, this does that very well.

I use 4 of these Chromecast audio devices with a hodgepodge of different old speakers to stream the same Pandora station throughout my whole house. Because it runs on WiFi instead of Bluetooth I can keep my phone with me and wander away from the speakers and the music will keep playing. It takes about ten minutes to get the Chromecast setup, but it's easy to stream from anywhere within the Wi-Fi range once it's setup.

I bought this, probably, just beacuse is a Chromecast product. I haven't used it as much as I expected. Setup was a bit more complicated due to the fact that you don't have a visual aid. But overall it fulfills its purpose.

Streams music from my server and Spotify apps to my outdoor speakers. An elegant, inexpensive solution.

The wireless range of this device is much better than bluetooth . But it does not stream your music only certain music services like Pandora etc...

Hooked it up with my Google home and sound bar. Now i can say "hey Google" and get crisp, loud and stereo sound on my sound bar. Amazing buy. Definitely recommend for the price.

Does what it is supposed to. Let's you stream audio to your speakers via wifi from multiple devices. Can hook up multiple of these to make multiple rooms sync. You need powered speakers though.
