I bought it under the impresssion that I can make my bluetooth enabled speaker something better. But then I realised that it is not going to help in anyway. But for the speakers that are only wired, it would do great.

I have several of these around the apartment so I can play music in any room. Easy set up and use.

I wish Google still sold these! They are perfect for streaming audio to a set of speakers, and to synch audio to multiple sets of speakers. I can play the same song in every room in my house using my phone and it sounds perfect (and for way less than a Sonos setup).

One of the best dongle that Google creates. It's nice to connect using this for audio than Bluetooth dongle because Bluetooth ones are susceptible to interference (microwave, etc.) You have the option to play audio at the highest quality (as-is). I like it so much that I bought another one: one for living room, one for bedroom speaker.

Now that the Chromecast allows you to sync chromecasts for an entire house experience, I REALLY love my Chromecast. Great flexibility and reliability. Like a Sonos at a fraction of the cost.

Need to get ability to cast audio throughout my house. This is the last piece of puzzle. I have Google homes in 2 rooms and my Onkyo reciever feeding my LR, back porch, and garage. This allowed me to set up a group using all 3 to cast not only audio from Pandroa and Google Play music but if I use the Google Home app to cast all audio from my phone, I can use any app and hear it all over my house.

My Philips soundbar doesn't have Bluetooth input. So I added this Chromecast so I could play music from my phone. NOTE: this Chromecast is AUDIO ONLY and will not do video.

Easy to set up and works great. I have it hooked up to my amp using optical cable and it sounds great.

This is a great and inexpensive alternative to Sonos for a whole house audio system. It's consistency is fantastic. I would highly recommend. I have five of them running in my house now.

This is my 3rd Chromecast Audio throughout the house. Use its optical out into the amplifies which sounds much better when sourced with Spotify's highest music quality.

Bought the ChromeCast Audio as a companion product with Google Home AI device. Great product. Music is clear and rivals CD quality. Would have given it 5 stars except for the 2.5 inch cheap inferior 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable. Had to purchase an AudioQuest Evergreen series cable to eliminate distortion caused by Sonos Play 5 power cord that is very very close to the cable input jac. As a side note AudioQuest Evergreen series cables are a great replacement for cheap OEM's.

I recently switched from iPhone to an Android phone (LG V20). So much of what I'd done before was in some way shape of form belonging in the "Apple Ecosystem". I now am quite happy being in BOTH tech universes. Still in Apple's mainly due to owning several iPads and AppleTv, but with a Roku, my LG V20, and now this Chromecast Audio (not to mention Google Drive and Google Pictures), I see and enjoy the best of both worlds!
